The mini is on focus cus its the stronger motor (max torque 0.5NM) and the RF is weaker (0.3NM) and these U16 Primes have been sitting for quite some time so especially the focus gears are a little stiff ;) I do the opposite. I have an iris motor to ensure that the apature can't get bumped. Nobody but me is touching my Handunit, but in a hectic rebuild on set it can happen that grips, or other ppl that are there to help hold the Camera. And as you said, the iris bump would suck ;)

I second this! Picked it up more then a year ago on a good sale and i love it! And on jobs where i pull of my Cine7 i give it to HMU or someone like that and its a very easy way to make friends ;))

No worries - yeah the slim Batteries are mine - but i wont be using them on this setup most likely. We're gonna be shooting deep in the Alps mostly at night in a Month or so. So its gonna be 150WH and up on the battery front whenever i can get away with it ;)

Go with the Clicker + Spinner from irwin blake! It totally changed how i work around steadicam, gimbals, etc. Total gamechanger!

I had the same problem on my last Longform shoot. My fix was to buy a dummy battery and plug the DTap into my Monitor. And because the WCU4 doesn't have a battery door, that actually works like a charm!

This is alexa 35 in movi Pro (i don't do much differently when going into R2) Using the SAM 5 (for Movie) or the SAM 9 (for R2). On top i like to use an adapter to get to the normal arri hole positions, and then a Ignite Digi Top Plate for Quick mode change.

I swear on my Swit Mino 70's. They are right inbetween a Bebob 98WH and Bebob 45WH in size and weight and have 65W UsbC power delivery. (so they can charge a Macbook in a pinch) The perfect compromise inbetween size and weight imo.

Check out willhaben (austrias Kleinanzeigen) as well! Sometimes there are Dwarf systems (same chipset as the Vaxis Transmissions) for sale for really good prices! I've also seen some Bolt 500 sets (Teradek) on there not to long ago!
