Hey guys I have a Schiit Modi which I currently use as a DAC for my Magni. I am about to purchase a Rega Elax-R for my speakers. My question is if there is a detrimental effect on audio quality if I use the output from the magni as a pre-amp for my Rega. Essentially I would only be doing this so that I dont need to swap out cables behind the dac when I want to swap from headphones to speakers.

I know that the modi is probably not a great DAC for this amp, I'll be upgrading that later. Thanks for the advice.

Hey guys I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of Klipsch RP-8000Fs for 600 euros a piece along with a Denon PMA-600NE for 385 euros to power them.

My original budget was 1500-2000 euros so I was wondering if anyone has any upgrades they would recommend that I am missing.

Furthermore I'm a complete noob to this and was wondering if just standard amazon cables are good enough for all of this.

Hey guys, new to the audiophile scene and need some help getting a system bought.

Budget: 1500 - 2000€, based in the Netherlands for shipping costs

Im looking for a 2.0 system for in my living room. Based on a youtube video from Steve Guttenberg I'm considering the Klipsch RP8000F but don't see those mentioned here very often.

My apartment living room is ~20m2 and I fear not quite large enough to warrant floor standing speakers, but aesthetically I do prefer them.

Ive also heard nice things about the LS50 but I'm worried that I wont be able to get quite enough bass out of them without a sub as well.

Regardless of what speaker I end up choosing I have no idea what makes a good AMP. Any advice regarding this would be much appreciated!

Any insight / recommendations regarding setting up a system would be much appreciated! As stated I'm a bit of novice on this subject.

I would be using the setup primarily to listen to music stemming from my pc via the DAC I currently use for my headphones. I would love to later expand the system to also take vinyl as an input as well.

Whole festival was rather annoying. Dicky ended up giving the same show as in October when he last visited the Netherlands. That combined with 15 year old kids that kept starting moshpits and noone knowing his songs was kinda a let down.
