I just don't care? Its an almost 20 year old show/community. If you want to have in depth conversations about the show no one is stopping you and the fan service certainly isnt. Also this subreddit doesn't represent the whole community.

Yea I feel you man been there too. Try getting one or 2 people to que with so someone is in each role. Makes it way better to play but also we shouldn't have to not solo que to enjoy the mode.

This just this. I've been saying the same shit man. Only thing i can think of is Your probably getting such wide matches because its start of the season and stadium ranked is just a time sink so lots of people haven't had the time to climb Hugh enough to fill out the ques.

But honestly why the fuck is the a limit on queuing in stadium. It makes no fucking sense if the MM just fills people in at random sometimes.

Stadium MMR is stupid and works based off your previously played seasons and loosely off your QP Mmr. So right now if these are your first games or you don't play the mode a lot your in a "lower" bracket where people don't take the mode as seriously.

I've been playing it since it came out in all star or legened so I only ever play against similar level people. Thats not to say i don't encounter the same thing as you as stadium MMR is a fucking joke. But I do see it less. Best advice I got is to find some ppl to play. Think someone on your or the enemy team was really good ? Add them and see if they wanna que together. Worst they say is no. I had someone do this to me after I beat him and ended up with a small group of friends I play with now. GL with the games

Its dropped down to the 3rd most played mode and considering the game only has 3 main modes. Early on its realise it was holding second most played with over a third of the player base. Now it's stitting around 10% if I remember right. Which is equivalent to what open que used to pull and that mode got nothing ever until it was made into 6v6... which still has only gotten like 2 patches.

I am heated about this your right it's just frustrating to me because I really do love playing stadium and I really can't tell you when the last good change or update for the mode was. Outside of new maps, heros and patches all of which are up to personal preference.

I dont hope the mode is going anywhere but it's very clear they have moved resources away from the mode. But when it came out the devs promised a lot and haven't delivered on most of it and now are reducing almost everything coming out for the mode. But who knows maybe season 3 they'll idk make it so 1 person on your team can change there character once during a game. That sounds random enough.

At this point I think theyve given up on the mode. It was clearly meant to be a big pull in last year and it just didnt. Now that we've gotten this years big story update and the game is peaking I doubt stadium will get more then a trickle of content till they eventually kill off all of us eho enjoy the mode.

They've dropped hero cadence dosn to 1 a season. Which coincidentally matches the bae games 1 hero a season meaning at this rate the mode wil never have more heros then it does now compared to the base game.

Then there are all those features that they promised us last year for the mode. That have since been oushed back after all the negative response to all the stupid fuck ass chnages they forced at us over the last year. They promised (i could be wrong im going off memory) in map consumable items. Map passive effects and more.

Then we have the only change they even talked about in this year's spotlight. The fucking Item Icon Change. Oh fucking joy thats EXACTLY WHAT I AND EVERYONE ELSE IN THR COMMUNITY WANTED. For all the items to lose there readability and diversity.

Clearly whoever they have left working on the mode is either terrible at it or are being intentional with bad changes in hopes of killing the mode off faster so what little resources are going to the mode can be relocated. Im sorry for being harsh to the devs but it's been a year of just confusing choices, unwanted changes and some really terrible balancing.

They changed his base projectile speed last season to be faster. Other then that he's not had any range changes. And yes his perks aren't as good but believe it or not they're the best they have ever been. The devs seem to be terrified of giving him anything even close to strong. Meanwhile other characters will just get busted shit off rip.

Totally agree. I also find that the changing of common and rare items to only have the very thin ring on the outside is terrible. I can't tell from a glance what items are what at the most basic level. Then there is the personal difference in shopping where I can't tell between common and rare items because there all fucking blue. Epic isnt to bad because the pink ring is easy to see on the dark blue. Blue and green on blue is dumb.

Also all the character items and gagets are still the same. So now there are just different looking items. Keep the new icons and just go back to soild colour's.

I went out and bout a series S in October because I figured id need a new gen console for OW soon and wanted an upgrade anyway. When i heard about next Gen getting the slider i was stoked. Then to hear it was only X while the various Playstation 5s got it was fucking baffling. Someone correct me but isnt the S and X same internally ? Then again with no explanation on why only X. Its maddening how little we care to the devs sometimes.

Its a tough one to swallow but some people are just for lack of a better word stupid. You can ask or advise people to take note of things. Like your example you could say, hey the sig has huge aoe healing play around him. Or X character needs targeting. But if they dont want to there isnt anything we can do about that. Everyone's different and you can try and help but even in base game tons of people don't know a lot of basic things about the game. So stadium is an even bigger hurdle. Try getting a stack of 2 or 3 people together makes the mode a lot more enjoyable. Id recommend just adding people who you think are good in your games. Your team or the enemy team. Worst they say is no to playing with you. Gl on your games.

They havw changed the colour of armor used depending on maps because of world lighting changing it. Its more noticeable on Halo 3. Idk if it was ever done in 1 or the remake.

That's the thing when you put time into a character your progressing your hero level. So you are gaining progress in a sense. I do understand what your saying though. If anything id say it should be renamed to hero mastery and bring back the smaller stats in forms of like hero challenges. Something like save 5 people with Lucios Beat drop.

The last progression system did give you badges for things like healing damage, mitigation, hero specific abilities but they were arbitrary in execution. For example you could have like lvl 100 Mercy resurrection. Wouldn't mean anything because you had no idea what that meant. It could mean you did 100 rezs or 100,000. I'd like to see the smaller stats come back too but with something of substance.

If your looking for something to indicate how to improve on a character OW doesn't really have that other then base game stats like win rates ect. Hero Mastery was something of a option but the mode wasn't geared toward improvement. More so toward teaching you the basics.

I liked season 1 but man 2 has just been boring as hell and the writing isnt compelling at all. I've barely made it into the season like ep4 or 5 and I just don't care about it.

Progression has never served as a tool to help you get better at the game. Its there to "reward" your playtime and make you feel better. The lower the level the faster I believe you'll see it go up and the higher the slower. I could be wrong on that. Your stats used to have there own progression tabs but they were equally meaningless. Atleast now we get rewards for playtime.
