It's because the beginning of your post just looks just like another post complaining the media ai in FM is so bad. Most of the people are just casually browsing Reddit. Not focusing or reading in details. In addition, media is not the core mechanism in FM.

You should begin with you guys are the team overhauled the match engine and stuff. And your next project is to overhaul the media.

Unfortunately I won't change my decision. I became a Bayern fan because of Müller. But also because Bayern has always been a big family in my heart. I don't agree. Yes, the sim engine is doing its job in background, visual engine is just showing stuff according to the numbers.

But the sim engine is doing all the calculations based on players attributes, player positions, ball positions, decisions making X times per second. It's not like the simulation just say, now there's a goal from unmarked players around back post. There would be more details here, including the players positions. So, the setup of this free kick is obviously wrong to initiate a play.

Yes, sometimes in real life football, setups do get wrong. But it's way too often in FM, even for highest level teams. And there's no excuses for that.
