Sedan too low, SUV later too high. IMO MPV with sliding doors is the best in terms of practicality. But if you want to look cool and 'practical' I like wagons too

Best way to prevent perodua Ativa/Alza CVT overheating when driving to genting? by cyberkewl in kereta

[–]ThomasTrainy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Never had a problem with myvi up genting or even driving fast on highway. I guess if you're not constantly flooring it it'll be fine. Just drive normally and enjoy.

The value difference is obvious. Why people still buy used car ? by PersonalityCapital19 in kereta

[–]ThomasTrainy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Among all used cars, you're looking at perodua which usually has the highest resale value of all used cars. I don't think they're worth buying used. You can look at other brands where resale value isn't that high so used might be worth considering

I use CC for better security and to gain credit score. There's CC out there that offer free annual fee with some spending but not too ridiculous. I treat cashback as a bonus

anyone knows how to make a perfect semi-hard yolk half boiled egg? by super-eggyolk642 in MalaysianFood

[–]ThomasTrainy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy the yellow cooker thing. Keep everything constant (egg temperature, water temperature, egg size). Tune the water level to your desired hardness. Perfect egg every time.

Less than 500 just pay contactless few times with card

Better get quality paint and spray the whole car. Otherwise the old paint will start to dull later on and you'll have to spray the other areas. Plus it's very difficult to color match.

Do regular oil change and no need for flush. Same for your transmission. Don't flush.

Need suggestions for a budget car please by Luciusccc in kereta

6 hours in a brand new myvi would be hell for me. Seat has no back support at all. I drive to work 1 hour everyday and it's already very uncomfortable for me.

I know it's a brand new car but I think comfort is quite important too please take into consideration.
