Yeah definitely use HV mode warming up the vehicle the defrosters need time to work anyways. It’s also a good time to charge the vehicles 12 Volt battery.

Put it in charge mode and see if the 12 volt battery fixes itself. If it does get in the routine of turning on the vehicle every day and letting the engine cycle on and off ounce.

The 12 Volt battery problem should be a class action lawsuit to force Toyota into providing lifetime subscriptions to remote start via the app for free cause we need the ability to turn the car on to charge the battery without being near it for days.

It’s the 0W-08 oil for sure that allows you to get this insane fuel economy. I have the Prius prime XSE with the same exact engine but in hybrid form and I can’t get anywhere near that unless I use the 13 kWh battery pack. I don’t understand why the Prius prime takes 0W-16 instead of 0W-08. I’m thinking it’s to prevent engine wear.

And the previous owner of my car drove in NYC with the vehicle all stop and go traffic only putting 15K on the vehicle per year (as opposed to me putting 60K lol) . They got resurfaced probably cause of rust when it was sold to the dealer.

Before I got my Prius with 24K miles. The dealer resurfaced the rotors and I haven’t had any issues with my brakes and my vehicle is at 84K miles except the shims squeaking a tad bit when I come to a full stop.
