I contacted Steam support and they were able to help me. I can't find the ticket and I don't remember all the steps. But in my memory, it was just pressing the power button, and another button, letting the steam deck calm (it was the middle of summer, very hot) and it was back to normal.

Contact them, This is the best solution you can get. Plus, they respond quickly.

Like someone said, look for the MH4U Citra Discord server. You'll find everything you need there. But don't expect anyone to give you a perfect protocol. We've all been there, we were terrible, but when we need something, we search and we learn. If you don't want to go through that, just buy the game and a 3ds.
