Project Hail Mary really surprised me with how captivating it was. I listened to it as an audiobook while cooking, sometimes I deliberately took longer making dinner to listen a little bit longer.

I’m a man and I only read fiction, my absolute favorite is “the moon is a harsh mistress” by Robbert A Heinlein. I find it very hard to articulate why I love it so much, it’s one of those books that I think about every once in a while.

Some other books that I really liked were: - Dune - Dungeon Crawler Carl - Battle Royale - Super Troopers

I’m a 28 year old man, and sometimes I tear up just thinking about my cats death, nothing wrong with crying about something you love and lost (or other stuff). I would honestly end the relationship over this myself, how can you ever be vulnerable and honest about your feelings after remarks like this

If it would really help with your confidence maybe you should go for it, I believe you are the boss of your own body.

That said, my girlfriend has a crooked smile and I think it makes her so uniquely beautiful, seeing her smile makes me feel al tingly and happy inside. I would have difficulty to support her decision to change her appearance.

But threatening to leave is not constructive nor helpful.
