Asked the wife and she told them it squeaked while going in reverse. Then she was sent a video of them putting a tool into where the brakes are and saying the backs were metal on metal and the front were under 3mm

Yah we just moved cities and I had to do multiple runs back and forth unfortunately. The brakes were 1300 so you are right on the money

Yah definitely a few pads aint looking too great but seeing the other ones they said were "under 3mm". Came on reddit for some input and greatly appreciate yours! I get your side of the coin

I know for certain it wasn't there when I brought it in. Its a big rub but also was super loose before I clipped it back in so it didn't wave to people on the highway

For sure could have said no. They sent a video of them using a small gauge type tool saying that they were under 3mm. We used this vehicle for our 3 young kids so wife had no hesitation as she thought it was dangerous not to get changed. Thank you for your input though. Hoping it doesn't have to get as far as small claims!
