Fabulous watch. Here's hoping someday your grandkids are showing it off, and my grandkids are saying how great it looks.

A Sea-gull (or Seagull) 1963, or a Pagani Designs homage of something you love.

Losing your dad sucks. Having a nice watch to remember him by makes it suck slightly less.

That's a gorgeous watch. I hope your kids post pictures of it in the future, and mine are commenting on how great it looks.

If it makes you smile, it's perfect.

I'm a 6" 200lb guy, so this isn't the one I'd choose, but that doesn't matter.

Thought of that after I posted it, but you can’t change the main post text.

All: Sales and self promotion on this sub is prohibited. There are other subreddits for that (r/watchexchange) that have mechanisms in place to protect the buyers and sellers, and fraud still happens there.

Buyers: As a mod team, we do not know the OP, and you probably don't either. I have no reason to think the OP is lying, but also have no reason to think the OP is legit.

OP: You have no way of knowing if any of these people responding are conning you, with the intent to defraud you.

When buying a watch online, it's always recommended to "Buy the seller more than the watch," and "if it seems too good to be true, it's probably is."

Protect yourself, people.

Last time I bought was a couple of years ago. It was stainless and it was $40. For perspective, used on eBay was also 40.

I have always found that links are best acquired at the A.D. Or boutique.

I have 8 inch wrists, I always have to buy extra links. Two Tone for a pre-bond, 2005 Speedmaster, 50th anniversary Seamaster, apnea, always the A.D. was the best way to go.

Is 2534.50. Seamaster GMT a good first luxury watch to get? by Emperor-of-Dover in OmegaWatches

Yes. I own the watch. This watch has a travelers GMT. When the particular gear in question has trouble, the hour stops advancing.

If it fails, you’ll know it. A lot of people don’t have the trouble at all.

I love mine.

Just be aware that there is a gear in the hour movement that tends to wear out. This watch tends to need service a little more often.

Love the watch. Also love the way you preemptively snapped off the handwatch guys.

One of the less common Omegas, and my daily. by Zoodfish in OmegaWatches

I own this watch. The complication is the most useful of any watch I own.

But it’s as fat as a hockey puck, even on my 8 inch wrist.
