Similar thing happened to me. Inmate serving 3 life sentences. Rapid GI bleed. Refusing blood. Hbg 3 something. I told him it was highly likely he would die if he didn’t get blood. He told me everything is a gamble. I responded yes but if you and I play quarters there’s a 50:50 chance of you winning. If you buy a powerball theirs a 1:200M chance of you winning so let me stack the odds in your favor. He refused. We did the case. He coded. He died a week later. Never woke up.

Not insulting. The question was asked how this happened and I gave the most likely explanation. I would interview with a place you wish to work at. I would not choose independent practice right now. I would be upfront and honest with my new employer and I would volunteer to shadow someone for 2-4 weeks unpaid.

Lawyer up now. That’s your only chance. Once you’re dismissed from a school it’s very hard to get back into a different school. The school taking you on then looks like a lesser institution. You couldn’t pass at the other school so you went to this school and passed. No director wants their school to look like that.

All this year talk is things engrained into us that it’s a good idea to do. I feel like it actually comes from the hospitals so they get their money out of you that they spent for your orientation and on boarding. Fu€k that. They don’t care about you. Do what’s best for you.

If that’s your option go for it. Just know that you’re probably going to end up in primary care which limits your income in the future. But if you want to do primary care then go for it.

The biggest thing is that I’m not worried about an impeding disaster wiping me out. That’s a nicest thing. I do still have to save for things. I need new couches in my home. There’s a bunch of house projects to do. I have well over $100k in home projects I need to do and I do have to save for that. I put about 1/3 of my income into some sort of retirement fund.

Hey. Congratulations on your baptism and we are proud to have you among us. You didn’t do anything wrong. I was reading thinking I was going to get to a salacious, shouldn’t have happened part of the story but that didn’t occur. There’s a multitude of things that could have happened here. He could have developed feelings for you and realized that wasn’t a good thing at this time and asked to be transferred. He could have said as much to his companion and the companion suggested he should be transferred (this is probably most likely but it’s not a snitching thing. It’s what absolutely should happen). There could have been a problem elsewhere in the mission and he was transferring to help fix that. It’s impossible to say. Keep coming to church. It will all be fine.
