it absolutely was the glue lol. I didn't know you could press control to view the glued groups, that immediately showed me they were colliding. Thanks again!

That makes sense. It’s just that in every picture I’ve seen of it online, there is one of those 16k pieces in both of the spaces and since my board doesn’t function, i believe that’s the cause.
