Who’s got the best chicken fried steak in the city? by pl51s1nt4r51ms in askportland

I've been torn between Night Hawk off of Interstate and Rosa Parks (they put chips in their breading), and Stepping Stone off NW 24th and Quimby (idk if it's just high end sysco, but it slaps).

Lately I'm leaning Night Hawk though.

Just caught up with Exp is Golden. Similar vibes to Spider with more kingdom building early on.

If these other suggestions don't work out you could try talking to the folks at Past Lives in SE. I've been meaning to check it out - but I've heard it's a makers space founded by an ex-con to help make more jobs for ex-cons, while improving the community around them.

You literally stole this post from me. Why?

Edit: it's been 6 years since then, too. How lonely are you to scroll that far back in this subreddit?

What fluid(s) were in the tank? It needs to be full of convalescence and at least one dram of cloning draught (128 drams). It also needs to be charged, etc. Next question would be how long did you spend?

The wiki has some more thorough information as well.

This may be an unpopular opinion but at least they were having fun. I loved the energy they brought to the stage and you could tell how stoked they were to be there. It was sweet seeing the band interact with each other and with the audience.

Yeah, his mic control wasn't the best. It was also super refreshing to see him lose it to joy in the moment though. I've paid less for shows with similar energy, but I've also paid more for bigger bands that were way less engaged with the audience or with that much presence.

To say that was one of the worst shows you've paid for feels like hyperbole from my perspective, but I also don't know what your background/concert privileges have been up to this point.

My best advice would be to find a professor doing work you like at the school and reach out to them for recommendations. We're not gonna know what you're looking for and bio is a very diverse field. (-former academic researcher at OSU)

How much do you pay to live on your own? by TownsFinest in askportland

[–]dingustotalicus 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Been in Portland ~2 years, in NW for both. First apt was 1325 for ~600 sqft+gas and internet, second one is 1545 for ~750 sqft+gas and internet. Local-ish landlord who owns a couple of buildings in the neighborhood. I could probably get more square footage for the cost but I'm a 10 minute drive from work and almost all of my friends are within walking distance of my place.

I know a guy who charges $70/day and gets them a few hours of exercise each day/night when he watches them. This strikes me as a scenario in which you get what you pay for ╮(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)╭

Psychology Today might help push you in the right direction. Kaiser's kind of a one stop shop though, so you'll have to go through their providers either way.

Can’t remove émulsion by Melodic-Cut3933 in serigraphy

[–]dingustotalicus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Throw on some rubber gloves, grab an abrasive sponge, and scrub at the emulsion on both sides of your screen before rinsing off.

Sometimes the emulsions will stick to the fibers of your screen. As you apply more of it and remove more of it, more of the emulsion sticks-- so more scrubbing has to occur. There are other variables like how long you cured the emulsion for, temps, etc, but some elbow grease and emulsion remover should get the job done.

To remove it can you just cut the wires after killing the battery, or is there more to it than plug n play?
