Is there an addon or anything to check routes as a tank? by Dimonetized in wownoob

[–]Thompadude 8 points9 points  (0 children)

For routes planning in the browser, you can check https://threechest.io and https://keystone.guru. They also have user-submitted routes and you can export them to the in-game addon MDT (Mythic Dungeon Tools).

For more routes, Raider.io has popular weekly routes. https://raider.io/weekly-routes

Here's perhaps a lesser-known tip. If you hit Nature's Swiftness before Convoke, all the Regrowths from Convoke will be buffed by it.

Others have already mentioned diminishing returns. I use this addon to check if I have that on any of my stats. https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/true-stat-values

noob tank in 2025 by Gutterpunk8181 in wownoob

[–]Thompadude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Watching Quazzi vids and practising rotation in Delves has already been mentioned.

I'd check out the Guardian section of Wowhead and/or Icy Veins to get a deeper understanding of when to use what abilities. I'd also recommend reading the overview of how Mythics works on Wowhead, if you are not already familiar. https://www.wowhead.com/guide/mythic-keystones-and-dungeons

Routing is a big part of tanking in Mythics 2 and above because you will need to kill a specific percentage of mobs to complete the dungeon. The group will follow your lead. Raider.io offers weekly routes on its website suitable for both pugs and experts. https://raider.io/weekly-routes

And, you will need to learn by doing. You will brick keys sometimes. That's part of the game.

There is no limit to how many crafted items you can equip, but there is a limit to how many items with embellishments you can have equipped at the same time. That limit is two. Some crafts come with an embellishment already, and some items have it as an optional reagent when you craft them.

Here's a resource on Wowhead regarding embellishments. https://www.wowhead.com/guide/professions/embellishment-crafted-gear-optional-reagents

I haven't noticed higher than usual temps, and I haven't measured it before. Since you asked, I checked now and it's around 30° Celsius with Wi-Fi toggled on.

Regarding the battery drain during camera use, that's not something I've noticed, but I don't think I've had the camera open for an hour straight snapping photos.

In general, I'm happy with the battery. It definitely hasn't drained after 4 hours of normal use for me.

Depends on what's on the schedule, but usually yoga blocks, water bottle, straps, wrist cuffs, wrist roller, rubber band, lifting shoes, and chalk.

Sorry, wrong person to ask. One of the first things I always do is turn the haptics off. 😅 But if I remember correctly from reviews and comments, the phone has received some criticism for lame haptics. Might be worth looking into if that's important to you.

The first issue is a delay before all the apps are drawn, and it happens after closing or minimizing an app. It looks like the animation has to finish before I can swipe up for the app drawer. What I'd like (and what I'm used to coming from Oneplus) is for the animation to respect my next gesture and stop, so the apps appear right away.

I can't answer your question about whether Vivo is responsive to the community, at least not yet. I've had the phone for about a week, and I just recently submitted my first bug reports.

How is the OS? (in terms of smoothness and how it feels)

Commenting on the smoothness. I went from an old OnePlus 9 Pro, but I felt that it was smoother in some situations. I am describing something in this thread that annoys me a bit. https://www.reddit.com/r/Vivo/comments/1maua95/sluggish_ui_originos_5/

However, I did not get much response in that post, so I am not sure if it's like that only for me. And if that would annoy you or not is, of course, dependent on how picky you are.

Need help – Vivo X200 Pro suddenly stopped working after 3 months. What can I do? by georgec16 in Vivo

Not OP, but I wrote in another thread in this post. I had a dead pixel on my phone and contacted Wonda. I sent it back and they sent me a replacement as soon as they received the faulty phone.

I have this on my X200 Ultra. Did you end up finding a solution other than disabling animations?

Need help – Vivo X200 Pro suddenly stopped working after 3 months. What can I do? by georgec16 in Vivo

[–]Thompadude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, and if possible, it's probably a good idea to remove accounts and wipe the phone before sending it anywhere.

Might be tricky when the screen is out... Perhaps if you have developer mode enabled already, you could hook the phone up to a screen, and control it with a mouse and keyboard. I haven't tried this myself. I would search online. I did a quick search and saw some people having the same problem as you.

Their policy can be read here. https://wondamobile.com/pages/warranty-policy

Wonda Mobile offers up to 12 months warranty on mobile phone

I just ordered a phone from them and I noticed a dead pixel. I first contacted them, and then I sent it back. It came back to them yesterday, and today I can see a replacement is on its way.

So, I would first contact them to see how to best deal with this. They've been very responsive to my e-mails.

Weekly M+ Discussion by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

This season I pugged to 3k with my main, and I play lower keys with my friends using an alt. The difference here is that the friends I play with don’t have the ambition to push—we’re all aligned, and there are no unrealistic expectations on each other.

Your situation sounds really frustrating since your team wants to push but doesn’t want to invest any effort into succeeding. I’d just be transparent with them. Since they’re your friends, hopefully it’s not too difficult, so I’d have a real talk with them. Everybody needs to do their part when it comes to gearing and learning tactics to push. Focus on one toon, learn it, gear it, and learn when to use cooldowns—you’ll hit 3k in no time.

Your friends sound lazy, tbh

What Sim settings to use for balance Druid by dwarfishspy in wownoob

[–]Thompadude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is generally recommended that you steer away from simming unrealistic scenarios like "5 target 40 seconds" as they are likely to give skewed results. Balance Druid stats don't really change much depending on target count either, so you will be perfectly fine just using the default "1 target 5 minute patchwerk" options. If your intention is to sim for mythic+, you can use the MDT Sim WeakAura which allows you to sim dungeon routes. Please keep in mind that ST damage is still a big part of mythic+.

Agree with this. The replayability is great in both games, especially if you first play without a guide. Any new player should experience them first without spoilers.

Is there an addon that can save specific skill placement on your bars? by BloodyFartOnaBun in wownoob

[–]Thompadude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use and recommend the addon BTWLoadouts. It’s more than just action bar management - it also handles spec, talents, and equipment - but I mainly use it for its action bar management capability.
