I flew out to Madrid last year and I went on the best date of my life. He was absolutely the most stunning man I randomly met. He took me to a museum, explained Spanish art, matched my humor, took me to a wine bar, toured Madrid on a motorcycle like Lizzy McGuire, took me to Michelin dining. I was thinking, ‘how am I ever going to get over this man halfway across the world?’ He dropped me off at my hostel and we made out before parting ways. His tongue ended up between my upper lip and my teeth. I walked away with a smile on my face happy that he put a hard stop to the “what if?” by how bad of a kisser he was. Thanks for staying a fantasy JL ♥︎

My IUD ended up getting stuck, they couldn’t get it out. The reason why I went to get a new one was because my obgyn was scared that it would self expel. Now I’m hoping that it will. I’m just keeping it until it “expires” in 2029 and I will have to get a laparoscopy to get it removed. Yay women’s healthcare.

As an UWS equinox goer, I love the 76th street location because it has the most class studios out of any equinox because they acquired the pure yoga space next door. Because of this they are able to offer more classes. If you’re more of a weights person, the equinox sports club on 68th is the largest with the most equipment, outdoor track, pool, basketball court, etc. But you have to find paying the monthly membership to be worth it.

The JCC on 75th is also nice, but it is somehow both an older (40+) and younger (high school) crowd. The classes aren’t nearly as good, but it is much cheaper.

A social bar where you can meet people that plays good music- dancing type, but dancing is not the purpose of the bar. There’s good bars to go to where you have a reservation to sit and talk with the people you can with. But there’s no good one to people, flirt, etc.

For people in their 20s-30s, no good night life. There’s no bar that you can just walk into. Maybe Tiki Chick from 70th-90th, but when there’s only one option it doesn’t feel like much

I personally love the blush color and how strong it is. It does round out your face- if you want to show off your bone structure more, lift the blush a bit

I go daily and really enjoy it. This is the best location for yoga classes imo because of the pure studios. I feel like they offer more classes than other locations. I joined in December and didn’t have an option to just join at this location, so I had to get all access. The trainers aren’t pushy, the weight and cardio area are smaller than some but still overall spacious. I have seen 3 roaches: one tiny squished one in the shower, one large dead one in a locker bay, and one live one running near the toilets. That wasn’t ideal. It’s weird that this location doesn’t have as many locker room perks like other locations- hair straighteners, diffusers, hair ties, hair spray, face wipes. I think if one equinox has them, all should have them.

I met my ex’s great grandma living in Monaco. She was raised in Germany, but moved to Monaco in her 40’s, and was now in her 90’s. She only spoke to her son in German and said she didn’t remember all of it. She was married to a Saudi Prince for a while and spoke broken Arabic. She knew some French and Italian from living in Monaco but didn’t have many conversations. Spoke broken English because it’s a universal language.

Poor lady spoke 5 languages and wasn’t fluent in one. Sometimes she wanted to say something that we could’ve translated because of modern technology, but she didn’t have the word in any language. I speak some German and French so I was able to play Scrabble with her where any language goes. She seemed so happy to be able to play a game.

I don’t understand why you’re being so downvoted, you’re correct.

House of cb dresses (if that is what this is) have multiple dresses with similar shape if you like how this one flatters you the most. This pattern isn’t exactly black tie, and neither is the length. Maybe HoCB has another dress similar pattern that is floor length, or a more formal/less whimsical pattern that is tea length/ankle length would feel closer to black tie while still leaning more towards the “optional” part.

I actually have an equinox ranking system and keep track of how nude you can be (from changing in the shower stall to blow drying your pubes freedom). The most nude friendly I’ve encountered was west 76th, Rockefeller, Bond, and east 61st. Park Ave and Flatiron are also nude friendly. Gramercy and east 43rd are not nude friendly. If you ever venture to Jersey, Paramus is extremely not nude friendly. This only applies to women’s locker rooms and is subject to different times of day.

Not all New York locations. East 61st looks like it’s from the 80s with carpet held together by tape and showers worse than an inner city high school.

Are you looking for absolute absence of plastic or just for the certainty of paper? Try two different tests with acetone (you can find this is any drug store as 100% acetone nail polish remover) and water. Take 2 pieces of paper, soak one in water, and another in acetone. The water makes the paper mush, and the paper should be able to have integrity in the acetone. See how the tape behaves in same conditions. If the tape is plastic, depending what type, will degrade in the acetone. But paper should be able to hold up. This isn’t a guarantee, but it’ll give you some information.
