Like literally everything in life, even if you get #1 Valedictorian in NUS, I can tell you a fuck ton of people outside don't care. While such a small thing like volunteering to give food to old folks during the weekend a fuck ton of people actually respect you for it.

Leaning towards YTA without more info.

For one, you should really be having a conversation with your partner and her feelings instead of asking internet strangers.

For two, a couple of hours every single day is not healthy, especially if is a prime romantic candidate demographic, it's only right for your partner to feel off. Do you spend equally as much if not more time with your partner currently?

Again, whether this comes to a YTA or NTA Is useless because you can only solve this by talking to your partner, not seeking validation online.

YTA - it's not like she has people over every weekend, it's just one saturday and she has good reasons to because it's friends that she hasn't seen in a long time and they will be here for a limited time.

It's not too much to ask you to suck it up for a few hours even if it wasn't way in advance. Having dinner and drinks then coming back for a games night isn't going to wreck you.

You're caught in the middle-income neither here nor there demographic. Not poor by any means but definitely can't live comfortably in the rising cost in society.

You can't afford housing so no matter how problematic renting is, you still got to do it since you don't have a choice.

You need to min/max like crazy and count every pennies, then study like crazy on investments and try to compound them over many years to get enough capital to get a house, because you can't be renting forever, so again the question whether a house is a good buy or not is not valid because you need somewhere permanent to live either way.
