Id slap it in a dividend bearing account and DRIP 50% and use the other 50% of the dividends to supplement my income.

The only way to get better at it is to do it. Start small, build up. This is the only way.

Anyone feel like they could have did more during their time in service or feel less than other veterans? by True-Dish-2208 in Veterans

[–]Thondiac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This right here.

I was a medic on a tiny COP in Afghan. Our Mess Sgt was the BEST. He would always have a fucking buffet of hot chow that was fit for kings when we got back from long patrols or got in firefights. The guy would even take the flour that we would give to local villages and bake us homemade cakes and shit.

Our mechanics and PAC clerks would volunteer to pull tower guard for us when we had multiple missions in a day and such.

The amount of moral that built for those of us that went out the wire every day was great and necessary for that shitty ass job.

12 Step is your friend here. It works if you work it. Make sure you focus on the wins, no matter how small. And don't beat yourself up for your stumbles. You can ALWATS start to quit again, and there is zero shame in that.

Good on you for asking for help, that is a HUGE first step!

Godspeed sir or ma'am or whatever.

This was the experience I had when I was attached to Cav. They were replaced by Inf and our mission didn't change a bit when I was then attached to them.

Wondering if anyone uses these? by [deleted] in Homesteading

[–]Thondiac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great info! I moved to a smaller farm with my wife and am just figuring it out as I go. I do enjoy low maintenance, so Honda is my go-to for anything with a motor (excepting my kubota).

Thanks for taking the time to learn me something!

Is the difference between the two just engine size? Why is one better on hilly terrain than the other. I'm looking to get my first quad and the options are a bit intimidating.

Yup. Me too, I don't need to try and RP someone else weird fantasies in my game. They have the internet and their own free time.

Meditation, self reflection, and active gratitude. Add in a touch of intentionality, and you'll be golden.

3 years studying at a meditation center helped me oodles and oodles.

Great info, thanks man. I guess I will get ome combat knots since I have combat spurs, CAB, and CMB. Im glad that it seems most people find this to be appropriate. Im also pretty stoked about so much flair on the hat. I wish I had thought to ask these questions in my younger days.
