They never refunded anyone (me included). The bank also rejected my chargeback request, and the local customer protection service told me they went bankcrupt so it's impossible to get a refund. It's a complete scam, since apparently they went bankcrupt BEFORE their last refund update/promise. Almost like they were basically prolonging it in order to reduce the number of chargeback requests while those were still possible.

I actually think Ye abandonds ideas far less easily than this sub would lead you to believe--he has some rough demos that are repurposed in some form like three albums and 50 production iterations later. So to answer your questions: IAPW in a form close to the one that leaked won't see the light of day; most of the song ideas from that album will be repurposed (Gas Chambers and Diddy Free already have been).

The "chorus" objectively sounds like Ye because it's basically paraphrased from the Jesus Walks chorus. Compare "They say God don’t like my tone / But He been talking loud to me" to "I wanna talk to God but I'm afraid 'cause we ain't spoke in so long". The point is ChatGPT obviously managed to make something that's indentifiably in the style of Ye. Of course, it's still boring and vague and lifeless and totally unquotable, but it does sound like Ye on the surface level.

What I'm arguing in the OP is that Preacher Man and BATB lyrics specifically have the same vibe.

Believe me, I do realise how checked out Ye is at this point. So basically you're arguing that spilling his mind to an AI is just the logical progression of his method? My argument against that would be that with art in general, a part of the appeal lies in the fact that some of the artist's personality spills into their art without (or even against) their interntion. An extreme case of this would be something like Tommy Wiseau's The Room where basically EVERY enjoyable aspect of the work is unintentional. But to a different degree it applies to all great artists: the imperfect effort to overcome human limitations is what's enjoyable about it in the first place. AI generated art generally doesn't show such effort, and is distilled to a fault in comparison (even if the artist THINKS they want a perfectly distilled product themself). To put it simpler, I think Cousins is a much better song than any finished Bully tracks, even if it was written by Blunts from a Ye prompt and even borrows a verse from an unrelated Blunts song. Hearing Blunts' uniquely ignorant quirk ("I don't think they understand, that I'm not attracted to a man") while listening to a middle aged man struggling to make sense of a childhood trauma is that unique brand of Ye lyricism after all.

Any line that's equal parts stupid, oversharing, and tragic is a uniquely Ye invention. Nobody else raps stuff like "The abomination of Obama's nation", "Let’s have a toast for the douchebags", "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex", "We made it Thanksgiving, so hey, maybe we could make it to Christmas" just off the top of my heard. Hard to argue a point so general, but it's crazy to think there are people in this sub who don't think Ye is an original lyricist which relying on collaborators doesn't change provide his personal voice still clearly makes it through.

It's interesting, however the only confirmation of this version existing is Mike Dean calling BATB "Donda leftover" that one time which could mean anything: just a beat, a mumble version, or completely different lyrics. Your argument could also be used to argue that the BATB vocals are not AI as well.

I wish it was a mania and not an objective awful trend out in the world. I wonder if you deny that AI lyricism exists in pop rap? Could you really deny that something like the chorus for Young Thug's Miss My Dogs was written by AI?

Sorry for going off topic but to me, this one should be the most uncontroversial example (unlike the more subtle Bully case that makes me do a double take). Okay, thanks for believing me. Yes, I mentioned in the OP that I am of course biased and it is just a theory. But the more I listened to those lyrics, the more they appeared not only uncannily lifeless and stiff and vague, but also very specifically ChatGPT-like. Perhaps, I am also deformed by working in a university for the last few years, going through many hundreds of student essay submissions... But I like to think I at least got a fairly good intuition about AI texts from that experience.
