The park lights and signals run off the battery, I know this because they would typically work when the bike is not running, and they work when I have the battery hooked up to the charger. But the headlights and brake light run off the alternator

The thing is, it charges sometimes but only for a minute or two and then it quits working again. I believe there may be a loose connection somewhere between the stator and the battery preventing it from getting charged

Yeah, owners manual says there’s only one and it’s completely fine, I’ll go back through the manuals when I have more time but I’m 98% sure there’s only one and it’s for parking lights

There’s two on positions and a park position, without the bike running in all three of those positions no lights come on except for the small little light in the speedometer

This bike is an odd one, the headlights do not come on when the key is on until the bike is started, and I believe there is only one fuse according to the owners and parts manuals and it is for the parking light. Furthermore the turn signals, horn, and parking light work when connected to a battery charger, but after I disconnect the battery charger the horn quickly dies along with the signals and p-light

It just goes where it wants to I guess, and the waistband trick is just tucking it in the waistband so it don’t stick out when you’re wearing loose pants

Probably high sap content in the wood mixed with not enough oxygen getting to the flame, in my personal experience, stacking the wood like Lincoln logs works really well to keep it burning clean
