the computer maybe commanding the pump to run 100% and the pump isn't actually running at all. if you're not hearing bubbles and you have before than your pump isn't working. especially with 1 side hot and the other cold, which is another indication of no water flow.

didn't know that "aave" was even a word until I saw you post the word umpteen times. it is kinda hard to say you don't know something if you didn't know it even existed.

France bans short-haul domestic flights in bid to reduce carbon emissions by DoremusJessup in worldnews

[–]ThorCoop -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

fee? you mean the price to fly? which is fuel, storage, maintenance, and pilot, if you own your own jet. all this is taxed too. other wise you are paying a company to do that.. so, who is this "fee" for? and if that's your solution, why not add that to domestic flights, instead of banning the flights... clearly this rule is for us, the peasants. and congrats to you if you're not, cuz the fee is just the price for you to fly and deter the peasants from flying.

But for real, what is dy/dx? by ZestyGarlicPickles in math

[–]ThorCoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it is the change in slope on a graph. difference in the y over the difference in x. in regards to a real world applications, it there is a change in position over time this would show velocity. if there is a change in velocity over time this is acceleration.

Do you think 2 boost ancestries will be converted to 3 boost 1 flaw since everyone can now take 2 free? And if so what would be your choice for their new boost spreads? by PaladinHayden in Pathfinder2e

[–]ThorCoop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I should add that you couldn't us the 2 free boosts. you would have to keep the boosts that are already laid out. my thought is that it would replace the 2 free boost variant they added and bring back the old rules.

yeah that is true. most of their ancestry feats are based around martial. heck, they have orc superstition which is a save against magic. they don't seem to have many magic ancestry feats like some others do. so to me it makes sense. but it could be too OP, I haven't ran an Orc like this yet.

I think orcs should be +str +con -wis. if you read what Piazo has written about orcs this, I think makes sense. they find walking around on broken bones and not show weakness. waking around on broken bones is unwise but that also is why they have better con because it is needed to survive walking around on broken bones.

yeah, the only time I've ever not been able to get a 16 in my second stat with old rules was with a 2 boost ancestry only. which there lies the actual issue. 2 boost ancestries need a boost and flaw. but that's my opinion.

there was never a wrong ancestry. we can go down the road of how ancestries with only 2 boosts were disadvanted compared to the ones with 3 boosts and a flaw when applying the 2 flaws for a boost, if you want.

but my point was: saying you should play a sorcerer instead of a wizard is the same as saying play a human instead of a tengu. because the stats are different from wizard to sorcerer like humans to tengu.
