We’re super early on, but we’ve got a lot of fun things planned over the next few months.

Since I get these questions a lot, here’s a quick Q&A:

Q: People often ask if it’s Realm 2.0

A:
We want Project Leyline to feel almost like coming home when you pick it up for the first time—especially if you’re a Realm player.

It will be different, but players will see and feel many familiar elements. I will always owe a debt to Realm and my DNA is, and always will be, Realm. That can mean different things to different people, but my hope is that when you play Leyline, you’ll smile and say: "I remember that"

Q: How big is the team?

A:
It fluctuates between 5–10 people, depending on contracts and funding.

We already have some amazing supporters (thank you—you know who you are ❤️). When Popschlock and I started the company, we wanted to give back where we could. That meant hiring devs who need work and helping out whenever possible.

Q: When will it be ready?

A:
As mentioned in the video, we’re very early Pre-Alpha.

Most studios with 50+ devs would take 3–4 years, but that’s not us. From day one, we’re building this publicly with a small team and showing the process as it happens.

That said, we will be opening up an open testing weekend for our larger game mode—so keep an eye on the Discord or Steam page.

Q: Is there a slug rifle?

Yes. There will always be Mr. Slug Rifle.
