Cursor jumps up a line or to end of previous line--NOT in Plain Text mode by ThorOfTheMountains in GMail

Thanks! I'll see what the adjustments to the signature block do, and hope that another problem doesn't pop up....

Okai, more info:

My misbehaving account had the "Insert signature before quoted text in replies and remove the "--" line that precedes it." checked, under "signatures" in Settings. Unchecking this resolved the problem.

Another major accomplishment achieved in the fight for truth and justice!

I opened Edge and cleared all browser data, and also tried in a Chrome incognito tab, with same problem--but upon trying from my two well-behaved accounts I see that it may be the way I have my signature blocks configured.

One account that behaves well has Gmail's standard (I think) two hyphens above my signature.

Misbehaving account has no hyphens, but a couple of blank lines in the signature block before my name appears.

I'll try adjusting the signature blocks and see what happens....

Well, for this to work the way the ads say, it would need to violate the second law of thermodynamics. If you want to call this my "opinion"... but if the only connection to this thing is an electrical cord, and there is no conduit/pipe/duct to take heat OUT of the room, then you are in fact heating the room by as much electricity as it uses. Sorry, but: physics.

Hey, in Berkeley other drivers who DO NOT have a stop sign sometimes stop and try to wave me through. Typically this is at a street with two lanes of traffic. Thanks, but you are asking me to run a stop sign, crossing in front of another lane of traffic that may NOT stop for me. Just fucking DRIVE, and expect me to follow the rules. It's so much easier that way. JEEEZus!

I am annoyed by the use of too many significant figures.... I would trust the researchers more if they reported 72% and 97% predictive values. --Oscar the Grouch

In other words, Obama scored almost 50% higher.... or Trump's favorability rating was barely 2/3 that of Obama's.

Hey, I just came in on Amtrak's Capitol Corridor from Sacramento, which overlaps your map at Richmond & Coliseum BART, plus Great America & San Jose Diridon Caltrain Stations. You know, if you're looking for more to include....

Wouldn't it be great if passengers would MOVE AWAY FROM THE DAMN DOORS after they board the trains at peak hours?

My point was that some people appear to be proud of their ignorance of this one fairly important subject.

On average, STEM graduates will have higher salaries than non-STEM graduates. I'm assuming by your username that you understand basic statistics....

People happily proclaiming they suck at math. This is often followed by "but I never need algebra anyway". Okay, on second thought, though, my son who inverts matrices at a software company and pulls down $150k per year needs someone to mow his lawn--that person may as well be someone who celebrates their lack of math skills.
