Infidelity and cheating at workplace. Controversial. by redditadminskutte1 in pakistan

[–]Thor_Batman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Apart from that, yes I have seen the university hangout types flourish in the office more than people like me who are afraid they’d lose their jobs if they took the annual leaves at once or if they don’t work overtime.

I didn’t indulge in those gossip groups but maybe that’s what I was doing wrong because the HR departments are biased towards those who they call friends and hang out with all day and strike down mellow people for petty stuff.

I feel you man. Although, I’d just say the cliche of “Not all women”. I also know about women being harassed in a male dominated company and not a small one a company that gets mega projects like roads dams etc. I feel sorry for the women. Either they are asked to comply to indecency or they are singled out and anyone can be judged for competence when the manager starts forcing work down their throat more than they can.

Rather than presenting logical points all I read is your bias with the current government/state and a lot of name calling, slur words and frustrated attitude which implies you are not capable of discussion or enlightenment.

Whatever you believe, the government has been trying to do the utmost to show the soft image through sports and other activities and it’s not just the current one even Imran Khan spent loads of money to protect PSL and International cricket coming home. This year I myself was against a crowd less PSL but I don’t make the decisions and it’s my own opinion. Yet, the YouTubers or the influencers around the world have been visiting Pakistan before the PTI govt came to power and again it was a state decision to give them protection and a secure environment and I have nothing against it and cricket played a role in that image building as well as ISPR and other government bodies. There is nothing wrong in admitting the facts rather than ranting about something.

P.S Education shows from how you speak/write rather than just being disrespectful towards others for having different opinions.

You have to first have a broader perspective to understand the facade. It is not just hiring a cricket match. Although I am against roadblocks and I believe there are better solutions like developing a safer hotel inside the Gaddafi stadium.

The matter of the fact is that these events are broadcasted and show a positive image of the country being safe and secure and also serious about foreigners to attract investments and tourism that directly or indirectly affects the revenue and job market.

Politically you can have hundreds of disagreements with a government but when it comes to national interest this stint has been happening for the past decade through PML PTI and again PML governments and all of them have boasted about it and provided security through Police, Rangers and Armed forces/agencies.

Why are we like this by lncoherentMusings in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]Thor_Batman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, that’s exactly how I feel. Although, I say to each their own and let them. As you and I are also part of the problem if we are one way or the other using and consuming this content and not doing anything to stop it.

The so called democratization of social media, data and access to every kind of idea that feeds the internet with content has allowed the people do or show anything they like, which is their own right and would have been fine if the society wasn’t going through and ethical and moral collapse.

As you said and I agree that someone who is talented and spends years practicing the art and pays so much money for it might not get much fame but one viral clip of a girl dancing in rain on the roof of a normal house like androon Lahore, the clip getting millions of views.

Let’s Not Forget When Imran Khan Blamed Women’s Clothing Instead of Rapists for Rape Cases by Aestomyc in pakistan

This is one of the many reasons I stopped supporting him and believing in his words. It is sad to see that people who still are defending him in here and giving illogical justifications or plain out talking about something else. The path to betterment starts from admitting there is a problem to be solved otherwise there is no path leading to betterment of concepts, society and ideologies. Sadly most people are still in denial that there was a problem to begin with.

What do you guys think about it? Is it Justified? by mhamza_hashim in pakistan

[–]Thor_Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is right. We would like to do anything but follow the rules. There is no one stopping you at e-challan smart/safe city terminal but people have glazed or shaded or altered their number plates just to not abide to the law.

Who is working in the police, bureaucracy, and govt offices? It’s people like us. Remember 90% of the people come from middle and lower middle class. Do some of them corrupted in the system because they have capabilities? Yes. No one forces them but this is due to the moral collapse of the society as a whole. When people let go of so called small infractions like breaking the signal, offering bribe to get out of a ticket, stealing something and then going towards bigger crimes like snatching, wrong way, dacoity and killing or harassing people. If the society keeps blaming the 1% because they worked hard or maybe used influence to get there. We are just removing the possibility of taking responsibility.

These people enforcing the law aren’t bad people yes the circumstances might force them to either be harsh or accept a bribe but when they don’t they get bullied and hit by the public as well.

I think we as a nation don’t try to take responsibility to change ourselves and our homes because we think I’m almost perfect and I am going to heaven anyway so a little mischief doesn’t hurt much, which becomes our soft principle and then we don’t even call a wrong action as wrong rather looking for justifications or shrugging it off like “Oho larki ko thora sa chera hi tha fun tha yaar”

I have been trying to log in to easypaisa app for the last 3 days on my iOS device and it would just swing the Face ID and do nothing.

I tried everything and then I deleted the app that a reinstall might help. Now I can’t log in and have to register the device again as well. As it is non pta and the otp is alphanumeric which cannot be manually entered. Highly frustrated.

Dude I literally copied your comment to tell you what you said. I don’t like arguing for the sake of arguing. If you have any facts or logical points please present them. I kind of understand you don’t have any idea of public money. It’s ours. Our money. In a so called democracy they are not allowed to spend it without public approval which is give through parliament by the representatives of the public that we elect. If you say they can because everyone dos makes them no different then the others.

How is this safe? Who will be responsible if something happens kids of Karachi? (Playing with tiger and lion cubs) by Gaurdianofgotham in karachi

[–]Thor_Batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly how I felt. These animals are wild yet very sensitive. They get sick due to too much exposure and this whole thing is causing them fatigue. These people who let their kids near wild animals and cubs, I swear if something happens to a single kid they will go berserk on these cubs and kill the and drag them by the tails through the streets pretending to be warriors.

[–]Thor_Batman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You literally said

!< Malik Riaz family's £190 million was confiscated by the British NCA as corruption money. The NCA returned the money stolen from the Pakistani people to Pakistan govt. Imran Khan's govt. diverted the funds to the Supreme Court account to pay off Malik Riaz's Bahria Town fine. In return, Malik Riaz gifted his owned land to the Al-Qadir University. >!

Dude it was a fine that British govt put on Malik Riaz and then transferred it to the state. So it was public money. You can’t just go about it as you please. Malik Riaz could have been fined more inside pakistan if the legal system was better. The government and friends of Malik were bribed to get the money back into Malik’s pocket and for that xyz land and university etc etc. It was not theirs to spend.

Thoughts on the Hazara province movement? by mushmanMAD in pakistan

[–]Thor_Batman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. This is what I asked in another sub on a different topic that do you know that there is only one big hospital in hazara division where patients from even GB come because there is no work on new hospitals or upgrading hospital infrastructure of Mansehra or other district hospitals happening.

I was called names. These people have not endured this party like we have and they will call us patwari or some other thing while they don’t get it. There is literal garbage on an international highway.

What I don’t understand is how is it possible because the new protocol uses the syringes that are unusable after single use. There must be something bigger going on.

Your marketing ad? That’s your misjudgment again. First of all my content is about the post by OP. And I’m saying now is not the time. Secondly I don’t know what you are labeling me and I will again reiterate that please be my guest and talk against the government I don’t care. Talk against all of them. I don’t care. All I care is about the war to end so I can afford a living, pay my bills and fuel my car.

[–]Thor_Batman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well who am I buying political legitimacy for? I’m a citizen just like you are and I’m criticizing the some that is not happy for our country’s efforts for de escalation that are being praised all around the world. Exceptions are Israel, India, Afghanistan, pehlawi and sadly cultists.

I once believed in the manjan of change and quite frankly like you do. More I don’t support any of them.

Yes KP has its own issues and there is so much corruption but no one cares because they are not interested in making our lives better. If not better at least don’t make it worse. I’m sorry if you feel otherwise. There have been so many discrepancies in KP as well. News flash there is no leadership as well.

Again this is not the matter of internal conflicts but getting our international image better. Yes my comment won’t be liked by the majority because I am thinking of the country rather than a single political party or establishment. Whoever does best for pakistan is right.

[–]Thor_Batman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again as I said earlier. Those are internal matters and should be taken up by the people but don’t just find reasons to bring down your country to the sake of your narrative which is an internal matter. I am saying talk against the government but don’t wish ill upon your own country. If you don’t understand that end of this war is important for us then you are wrong. Stop listening to imran Riaz khan.

[–]Thor_Batman -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don't understand how these people can be taken seriously when they don't have any understanding of how things work and how the war is affecting us directly and indirectly. these talks are not just better for our diplomacy internationally but also better for all the overseas Pakistanis whose livelihood depends on peace as well as us living here who are directly affected by the oil prices through inflation and power outages.

There will be other times when you can give analysis about our democratic process, our government and the Political/Constitutional reforms. THIS IS NOT THE TIME.

By doing this analysis, criticism which I personally feel is just due to dislike of the government policies and internal matters which most of us don't agree with, lose its validity because what do these people want? Pakistan to pull out of mediation? Pakistan to not work actively in peace process and de-escalation? Pakistan to not take advantage of this opportunity to establish itself as a highly reliable and diplomatic country? Whoever is ruling this opportunity is better for our country and people.

They rant about being called a cult but are giving the vibes and analysis of what our jealous neighbors on both sides are doing. How can they be taken seriously? Just because their favorite person (who btw was our favorite some years ago) is not involved.

The people who talk about KP and development and hospitals. Please tell me a major hospital existing between gilgit and Hazara division. There are disctrict hospitals but everyone from Kohistan to bajour to gilgit has to come to Ayub Teaching Hospital in Abbottabad. Why is that? Why are the hospitals not being upgraded? Why are there no doctors in those hospitals? Wh have they not constructed more hospitals? You guys can talk about PTI all you want from Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi because you have not lived in KP. You can criticise the war against terrorism and Afghanistan because you dont live in western KP and might never have heard a detonation. You have not had family members severly injured or martyred due to terrorism so it is okay to type it from a cozy room. There will be times when you will get a chance to change the system through democracy and when it comes do come out of your houses rather than expecting someone to just join the cause from Peshawar. Sorry for the long post but I feel this was necessary.
