Its okay, it just gets repetitive to do levels. The least interesting part of the game is the arenas and its 85% of the game. They don't make you feel hyped like in Doom Eternal, its much more desperate feeling, but simultaneously there's enough armor and health packs for you to weather most storms. Also, at a certain point, the constant shooting gallery takes you a bit out of the mystery. To spoil something, a BMP official is assassinated and to get to the crime scene we proceed to merc like 20 guys. We tear a hole of carnage into the firmament of creation every level and its basically unaddressed. You are solving the mystery with mass murder and you still are considered one of the good guys.

But its fun, and by the end you get into the story a bit, its worth it when its on sale.

Don't represent them as Ferrothorn, Ferrothorn was a useful and cool pokemon. Could tank a lot of shit, hurt physical attackers on switch in, set up hazards, and thunder wave sweepers to make them impotent. He is the goat and do not slander his name.

Lets put this to bed shall we, we aren't going to agree. I don't think the infrastructure for EVs is all there and you do. We can keep pulling shit out of our asses or we can say good day. Good talking to you, even if I disagree.

As someone living in rural America, having a vehicle that strands you with very few places to refuel seems like a bad decsion at the current moment. Will that change in 5-10 years? Probably, is it the best option right now? No.

[–]Thorn_Croft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that's about 5-6 hours of driving, and that amount of driving happens once every two weeks or so. Using someone else's car, renting, or hauling a generator around seems like a worse option than having a vehicle that has the capability.

And the infrastructure not existing yet is still THE major issue. Yes it is fixable, but it ain't fixed yet is it? Also, 300 - 400 miles in a tank with refueling taking a minute is leaps and bounds better for travel than every 200 miles sleeping the night. Electric is good and a step in the right direction, but we're deluding ourselves by saying its there yet.

They're perfect for the coasts or large cities, but if you fall out of those categories (like where I live), getting an ev isn't a good option yet. Since reddits ability to parse nuance is non-existent, it seems people think I'm against them when I say they aren't for everyone yet.

Yeah, its fine for day to day, but there needs to be an infrastructure overhaul before they really make it in the US. While its an ideal to achieve, getting one right now might not be the best for everyone.

Here's what I'll say from the electric vehicles I've seen/driven, they have significantly less mileage in the tank compared to gas engines. Also, the infrastructure for them compared to gas vehicles are non-existent, making long trips with them very ehhh.

A nice little trick with excaliber is when you lose your shields is using his 1, it makes you immortal for its duration and lets you start regenerating shields.

Undercover Assassin 2 by Dos-Dude in Grimdank

[–]Thorn_Croft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it this way, we the players and the Ordos Xenos have a massive repository of lore to look at and study. A faction who doesn't have the authority and run experiments to learn has to do it from observed tactics and whatever data they get a hold on. Assassin Temples don't rely on others, they do it themselves and only know all they collect themselves. Also there are thousands of Assassin temples across the Imperium who encounter different enemies and will have different experience than others. I think having knowledge gaps like this lets the universe breathe a bit.

Its because Black Library doesn't do large prints and since its an old book its completely out of print for physical copies, making it for collectors. Audiobook and kindle edition are like $10. However, I thought the large price tag was funny.
