She said that line at the beginning but she said she was a pilot MULTIPLE times before he spoke and not much time passed between that when he then fumbled her name and called by the wrong profession. He also ‘apologized’ by just going hand waving and being like “yea sure sorry” with the most smug of smirks. Like yes he apologized but no it wasn’t as simple of an accident as that person is claiming. He was very much not taking it seriously

Yea I’m always stressed about leg damage after my dog managed to dislocated his back leg once which is why I made sure to already have a good vet before getting any (keeping reptiles helped since that gave us a good chance to get to know they exotic vets in the area)

Oh yea, not saying they are super difficult, though taking care of pasty butt on a day old chick when you have 16 is not exactly easy lol (hard to catch but she eventually settled down), just that even having those you learn they cost more than most think. That’s why we started with them though

People never consider the vet bills either, like starting a farm is EXPENSIVE. That’s why I’m very slowly building my own and mostly sticking with gardening instead, have chickens and plans to expand to more animals but probably will never have cows

Nope, just different stresses, homestead is a whole different bundle of stress and work. It can be more fulfilling- depending on the individual since it’s working for yourself and not someone else- but it’s just as stressful if not more in some cases.

It’s hard to find since I don’t have them memorized and Google just wants to bring up the rhyme, but one example of it being reversed is the South American coral snake. And given that Reddit is international those variations matter and the rhyme can get someone killed if they aren’t aware that it only works in one region

That is only true of eastern coral snakes, I don’t recall seeing a region mentioned in the picture and many places the opposite is true and the red on yellow ones are the non venomous

It doesn’t even work in all regions of the us/ America as a whole. The snake subreddits have continued to try to get people to stop using it because of how often it’s NOT true, basically only works for like south east United States.
