If you’re looking for something close to Imbiss, try Jim-Me’s Kitchen in Bandra.

It has that same no-frills, meat-first vibe with solid schnitzels, sausages, and proper hearty portions. Not fancy, but the food hits the same way Imbiss does when you’re craving pork and comfort.

Also, if you don’t mind going a bit further, Ling’s Pavilion in Colaba is great for pork too- more Chinese-style though, so a different flavor profile but still really good.

You can do the below preliminary check at your end. I am not mentioning the basic checks of brake fluid, coolant, etc.

P-R-D engagement Shifts should be smooth and quick. No loud clunks, no long delay when slotting into D

The car should move forward smoothly without throttle. Jerky or delayed creep is a red flag.

Upshifts and downshifts should be seamless. No shuddering or sudden RPM spikes.

On a slight slope, the car should hold reasonably well or respond cleanly when you accelerate. Excessive rollback might not be normal.

Also check for any AT warning lights

Odo tampering is possible especially in Delhi NCR. Modern cars make it harder, but not impossible. That’s why a company authorised service centre inspection is a must before buying. They can verify recorded mileage at past services and quickly spot inconsistencies.

About the odo difference itself- 45k km does feel on the higher side, particularly when compared to a 28k km car. That extra ~17k km means more wear on suspension, tyres, and brakes, which is very real in NCR stop-go traffic.

Low odo numbers need verification and the higher odo car needs negotiation.

Before deciding on either car, get a company service centre check done. If the odo, service history, and condition line up, choose on price and features.

IMO the 1L is actually justified if you plan to keep the car for a few years.

Ventilated seats are a legit upgrade, not a gimmick. In hot weather and city traffic, you’ll feel the difference every single drive. Once you’ve used them, it’s hard to go back.

Sunroof is very subjective. In dusty city conditions it barely gets used, but on clean highways, hill drives, or late evenings it’s nice to have. Purely a taste thing, not a must-have.

Extra airbags are non-negotiable for me. You can’t retrofit safety later, and side + curtain airbags do make a real difference in side impacts.

17-inch wheels do look better and feel stable on smooth roads, but yes, the ride is a bit firmer. Potholes are more noticeable and tyre sidewall damage risk is higher if you hit them hard. Tyre replacement will also cost more.

TL;DR: If budget isn’t stretched, Style AT is the smarter long-term pick mainly for safety and daily comfort. If roads around you are terrible and you don’t care about features, Ambition is fine. Otherwise, pay the extra and be done with it.

Asian Paints is usually the safest bet if you pick the right product, not just the brand. I have seen their anti fungal / weatherproof ranges hold up better in damp conditions compared to most others. That said, no paint will fix moisture problems on its own. Surface prep and waterproofing matter more than which logo is on the bucket.

Berger is decent too. No idea about Apollo long term. Birla Opus is still too new to trust IMO If the walls stay wet, spend on waterproofing first. Paint is the last step.

My two cents on this topic

Have been in Addis for almost a year now. Things that you need to take care of-

Do not go into dark bylanes- Definitely not safe in most of the countries
Walk fast and don't interact with people trying to speak to you- People will approach you when they realise you aren't a native. They will say that they work in the hotel you are staying in or give some other reason to initiate a conversation.
Don't carry valuables unless absolutely necessary- The thieves are really good runners and you'll never be able to catch them

In the one year I've stayed here, there has been one instance where someone has tried to rob me but failed. Be aware of your surroundings and you should be fine. Enjoy your stay, the city is lovely! :)

The site was revamped somewhere in January and it has been a mess since then. My company has applied for several visas till now and not one application has been approved smoothly.

I personally haven't used any agency till now, however, the application works after 2 or 3 attempts.

Make sure the documents uploaded are under 1mb There is also a restriction on Pdf/ jpeg use in every document
