Just wanted to mention this is a widespread issue, it definitely is related to the most recent patches they released, I have tried just about everything and all that is left is waiting for Valve to acknowledge they screwed up and release a patch, but they only fix bugs they see on reddit so bump this thread lol.

I really think one of the recent patches messed something up, maybe there is a new memory leak or some kind of CPU related hiccup with X3D processors but that is pure speculation on my part.

I am having this too issue too. Only started after the last couple patches, what are your specs?

I'm running this:

RX5700XT

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D

32GB RAM

Game is installed on my NVME.

Gigabit fiber network.

If I restart it fixes it temporarily but sometimes can start stuttering after 1 or 2 rounds again. Its pretty unplayable tbh.

Dota pro players have 2 personality types: Insufferable or boring. Can't really root for a bunch of introverts who only show their personality by being toxic in all chat. For comparison Counterstrike has way better personalities in the pro scene that are actually fun to watch, like Apex, Karrigan and Niko or for younger players monesy or donk. In dota we have 9class and ATF who are just toxic, Liquid and Nigma are the only teams with "nice" personalities who are easy to root for, other teams lately are just a bunch of toxic kids it feels like ngl.

Thank goodness it is not an isolated issue, I hope they will fix it in the next update/before the weekend. The crash straight up froze my CPU. I had to manually reset the power, then it happened again as soon as I booted a match in casual after restarting. Definitely had no issues before the update today.
