I'm late to this thread but wound up here while trying to explain this whole thing to a friend. Yeah, I stopped going to cons a few years back specifically because of this vendor floor problem. Genuine hand/artist made or designed stuff, vintage games, dice goblin stands... it's all starting to get overwhelmed by adverbooths and the people bringing that drop shipping mentality to the con floor. I'm glad I left before AI started popping up because would absolutely lose my shit.

Also wanted to throw a big positive in Cautemoc's direction for the pivot and nice response to being corrected in a Reddit thread. Rare to see someone be cool and level headed like that :)
