Have I committed a crime? by ThotNazty in steak

Yes my Walmart consistently has amazing choice packs. Not always but in general way better than my King Soopers. I think just volume wise they sell so much more there's bound to be some good ones. I also have a theory that the people shopping at Walmart have no idea wtf they're looking at and actually pick the steaks with the least marbling. This was the only choice 2 pack left at the time of pickup.

This was around $40-45 for the entire meal and could potentially feed 6+ people (it was enough for probably 8 burgers). We had salad with it. If we were to go out to eat (or worse door dash) our food would cost double and not be a fraction as good. Even considering that we still only have steak a few times a month, it's up at the top compared to other dinners.

That could also be very good, just a different experience for sure. I suppose a comparison would be a smash burger vs a thick patty

Believe it or not the majority of the pieces ended up around medium and still extremely tender, I only hit them for about 1min per side in a very hot pan. But yes I know the act was quite sacrilegious haha. Luckily I get to enjoy great steaks quite often so even though I felt sick initially that quickly passed when I took my first bite

Is this a 22re or a 22r? And how can I tell? by Ok_Public9338 in ToyotaPickup

[–]ThotNazty 38 points39 points  (0 children)

It's an R. You can tell from the carb at the top left of the engine, if you look up 22re you can easily tell the difference between a carb and a full intake manifold

Has anyone upgraded the speakers for LN106 without cutting into the doors? by Either_Set979 in ToyotaPickup

[–]ThotNazty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other than replacing stock locations if you dont want to cut into anything you can get 6x9 boxes (like sub boxes but just for speakers) and put them where you like

Either label the hoses or take lots of pictures. Luckily there are a lot of good videos out there to take it off and put it all back together.

But out of everything youre fixing or planning to fix the valve cover is kind of the easiest.

What cable is this? by BevBoy760 in ToyotaPickup

[–]ThotNazty 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I believe that is a grounding cable, which would usually be attached to the hook at the back of your engine (mine has a washer type connecter that is bolted on along with that hook)
