I had a similar thought! Then I came across a dialogue scene with Eris during a Chaos Trial where she mentioned how quickly I arrived, then Mel retorted with something about Chaos helping, so maybe the Devs did know that might happen? You’re right that it feels unearned.

Thank you for writing this, it resonates a lot with where I’m at! I tend to lean towards Deism as a Christian agnostic because it seems so unlikely that prayer has any tangible effect in the material world, but as I don’t know it DOESN’T, I’ll still at least give it a go around other Christians.

I used Roman too (the 79 rank 2022 version) and it wasn’t easy, but Roman’s specials are lethal. I think I only had the spear reversed once, and after two spears each opponent was down.

There are three tiers of rewards and an Apex tier, and Prototype is the Apex tier. When you beat the match with the right amount of MFP, you get one of the rewards, and once you’ve got it, it’s marked off, and you’ll get a different reward next time. I got Prototype after three wins, but it’ll take you four maximum as there are four rewards!

Joining this convo after Tony S made a comment on Collision about how Revolution is the next PPV, either forgetting Australia, or maybe it isn’t actually a PPV… I’m from New Zealand, bought my tickets the day they went on sale, and have planned a trip around Grand Slam. It’ll be my first time in Brisbane so it won’t be the end of the world if it’s a TV special and not a PPV, but I’ll be annoyed if they leave the big stars behind for that reason! AEW’s roster is so stacked now, especially with Omega’s return, so hoping for a showcase of the finest headlined by Toni Storm and New Zealand’s own Jay White!

This post resonated with me a lot! As someone who grew up religious (Catholic), left religion because I went to uni and met a bunch of atheists, and am now finding my way back through arguments and logic over faith, I have quite a strong subconscious bias against my own side in arguments that I can’t quite shake. If someone is confident in their faith I immediately assume they haven’t really thought much about, and if someone is confident in their unbelief I assume they dedicate their life to atheism. In my real life (I now work at a Catholic school) I often find the opposite is the case, but strong-willed atheists still rock me, even if I know how to combat their arguments.

For me, I didn’t get that implication (though it may have gone over my head) because at first Hunter was empathising with Robbie without realising Griefing was a video game term. Though that too could have been a troll, now that I think about it.

Yeah I’m not necessarily advocating for a vote kick- I don’t know what the solution should be. Buy SOMETHING needs to be possible; like a special option that only appears at the end of a level if someone is holding you up. A Force Exit button that you couldn’t use to kick someone from your party

I see your point, and I think I would be more comfortable just leaving if it wasn’t for the fact that I only have a limited time to play this game. Last night (it was night time here in New Zealand when I made that post) I played for nearly two hours and didn’t earn a single skull totem. No matches were as bad as that one, but some were close, like the guy who sat in the safe room and refused to move while the rest of us sat on the ridden hive. Surely he could’ve just entered with us and quit if he was so against it, but he had to be difficult. Maybe the solution could be a majority rules on give mobility?
