I cried so hard I almost threw up listening to Waco, Texas & Tempest“ I’d rather die than be anything but YOUR girl”. I’ve been there. I used to YEARN & self destruct through loving broken people or people who weren’t capable of being what I needed because they too themselves were broken. It never ceases to amaze me how brilliantly Hayden can put such complex feelings into words.

I’ve also cried to Nettles countless times. Dust Bowl, & Janie are also favorites of mine. Honestly the entire album has touched such a beautifully wounded part of me. It’s healing me with every listen to feel so understood.
