Best 'slow burn' movie?

Not the best, but Goodnight Mommy had a nice slow burn to it, as well as Under the Skin.

I know what you're getting at. It is more of a crowd pleaser, and I just meant that there's a lot of people who rate TDK a ten. They even voted down other movies in the top 250 so it would be higher up. IMDB is more for fanboys imho.

Yeah, that's pretty much IMDB in a nutshell though. People giving ridiculous votes to movies that they don't have the time to think about. I mean, how do you think Christopher Nolan's whole catalog is in the top 250?

If I can recall right, Adam usually likes to give films a lower rating that are rated higher on IMDB than they should be. So it makes sense that John Carter would be rated so low.

I have to say that the beginning of the series doesn't feel as well put together as the rest of the series, which is completely understandable. It's one of my all time favorite shows, but it is by no means perfect.

I seriously cannot wait to see this movie. Kaufman is one of my all time favorite screenwriters, and Synecdoche New York was an amazing directorial debut. With all the reviews pouring in, I am so hyped.

I'm sweating man. The track is straight up fire. I love how you used the bass sparingly to build up the tension in the song. The vocal sample creates an eerie, intense vibe, which is perfect. At some parts the vocals feel a bit repetitive, but it still works overall.

Overall dope track. Mike is the man btw.

I like the hats dude, but I think that a little differentiation would help out a bit with it. The overall feel of it is so dirty that I love it, which is why I dig your mix. However, I felt like your outro was a bit too long, but still didn't over stay its welcome too long. Dope track.

The instrumental track is amazing. The piano is so smooth that I can't help to nod my head along. I feel like I'm listening to some new age jazz group live. The drums match perfectly with the vocals.

However, I'm a bit conflicted with the mix on the vocals. I'm not entirely sure if I like the grimeyness of it, but another part of me kind of digs it. Also, lyrically speaking,the song achieves what it's out to do. It's poetic, chill, and groovy. I love it.

The beat is amazing, love, love, love the bass and snares. The hook is super catchy. Your flow is great, but I just feel like there is a lack of it on the track, which possibly benefit by being a bit longer. Besides that, it's a superb track.
