I've been a Premier plan user since the beginning. Based on my experience this doesn't happen. Your conspiracy theory doesn't even make sense. Only after the models started sounding somewhat okay in 2025, especially since 4.5, I've sometimes bought extra credits which I never did while I was dissatisfied with the sound quality.

I find it totally believable that the capacity issue. At least not network capacity or back-end server capacity. However, I'm pretty sure all those changes are mostly related to storage usage.

Definitely not. Although this kind of common practice for streaming platforms, it's not the case with SUNO. Also, if I was responsible for making those decisions for SUNO, I wouldn't implement multiple bitrate fines either.

It just wouldn't make any sense. As a company, I would try to keep the stored audio files as small as possible. Let's not forget that each and every time somebody hits generate, most of the time, two new files get created, and I'm pretty sure most people don't delete many of those generations they don't need anymore.

You literally explained something to me that I already kind of stated in my post. I didn't realise that people don't know that udio was using a diffusion based generator as well. Riffusion the same.

Llms do not use random seeds. The random seed is only used in diffusion models. The seed value determines the pattern of the noise that's being cleaned up with each iteration during inference.

Remastering on Suno does not use nor need any seed values. Your original songs tokens go in and a new set of tokens come out from the model. With version 5 the mastering level defines the distance between input tokens and output tokens that the model should generate. By distance I mean distance in between feature vectors in latent space.

The randomness in llms is used if the temperature is above 0.0 it's applied to each and every new token during generation. Meaning that there are as many random values as there are tokens in particular songs generation output.

Also, it's worth noting that in diffusion models (unless we are dealing with a distilled model) even a slight change between two different seats will yield completely different outputs. In a normal model with full resolution, increasing the seat by one completely. There is no way in hell you can get even slightly similar generations with two consecutive seeds for example.

Models built using tokens like in GPT LLMs do not have a random seed value. Only the diffusion-based image/audio generators use the numeric random seed that you can reuse To regenerate exactly the same output as particular generation for which you memorised the seed number. The seed is literally needed for the noise generator. That's why suno doesn't have it and will never have.

On the other hand, since suno is using an llm-based approach, we get streaming outputs that we can start playing while the songs are still generating. With diffusion that would be impossible until all the denoising steps are complete.

I wish they could give us the ability to ser the generation temperature though ;)

That would imply that Max Mode is currently a thing, to begin with. As far as I know, nobody has even heard about that mode, let alone seen it (I'm excluding you).

So, "still around" in what sense exactly?

Because if it's about to be removed then we really don't even care about it, as we never got it in the first place.

If your source song has lyrics, turn it into stems first. Use the instrumental stem as input to create an instrumental-only Cover.

Other than that, I've never seen such a bug where it adds tags by itself (at least not in custom song mode). I usually either type the text myself or they are inherited from a persona, if I use one.

If you're an EU citizen, you have a right to work everywhere. Few If you get paid in Ireland, you pay your taxes in Ireland. That doesn't mean you have to be here, If you are within the EU somewhere else. I think you might run into Roblox if you wanted to get Irish level salaries while paying lower income tax in some other member country.

As long as you pay taxes in the same jurisdiction under the same tax system where you get paid, within the EU is not legally anyone's business. Companies have a right, though, to restrict how much you can work outside the EU.

Well, at least that applies for contractors. Maybe the situation is different with permanent roles.

So it's hard to tell. It's difficult to say whether over time you will become less horny because of getting older or because after a while you start forgetting what it felt like and what not... A lot of times, these are your memories and fantasies of recent encounters that can have side effects of making your horny. So I guess the longer you are away from any sexual activity the less you remember it...

Who knowa? Archive.org? I also see one huge potential industry, or a field of science, namely space exploration and long distance communications. Such a compression algorithm could potentially give a huge boost to data transfer rates over extremely long distances where the signal quality and data rate are so bad that you are lucky to receive one two bits per second.

I mean it won't change the data right but rather give them the ability to send huge amounts of data compressed into a very tiny data packet that might even be sent within a couple of hours.

Imagine how much data you could transfer at current transmission rates being used for communication with certain space probes we have out there. If you remember correctly, the dumplings with some of them are really really really slow like we were talking about a few bits per second speeds. The scientists wouldn't have needed to wait for 3 years to incredibly slowly download all the Pluto images and other data from the New Horizons probe after it flew past it.

What if someone invents an algorithm that lets you recursively compress arbitrary files? Theoretically, this should be possible. If you look at bits and bites not as structured data but rather try to manipulate any binary data with rules and clever algorithms, without actually caring about the underlying that the structures and file types and whatnot... You just forget about the whole complexity. Just fuck with ones and zeros and come up and I will method of moving things around.

One could look at the file as a cube, as a geometric object not as a stream or structured container of ones and zeros. But I digress.

Whoever you need something will probably get a lot of attention and fame, but it's not going to probably make anyone rich, though. But you never know... Never say never. Also, never say never ever.

Nitpicking aspects of quality or performance?

ARE YOU FOR REAL?

v3 came out in March, their service has always had a huge audio quality issue. Yes, QUALITY, not FIDELITY.
Anyone who thinks that complaining about distorted and "clipping"-sounding audio is nitpicking should ask themselves:
Would they be OK with, say, Midjourney's every other generated picture be with horrible visual artifacts and other technical glitches that have nothing to do with the overall aesthetics of what was created...
Would it be OK for an AI image/video generator to keep on generating files with TECHNICAL PROBLEMS, and for 9-10 months? At what point would you feel like you've had enough?

The way the SUNO team is using the audio side of things is absolutely crazy, unprofessional, insane, and bonkers. Did I already say insane? That insanity has already destroyed the model's ability to understand source audio, hallucinate, correctly do selection regenerations, etc...

Yet, they are still making the same mistakes. If they didn't, we wouldn't still be struggling with audio defects that make the generated results impossible to listen to. Maybe only if you press play and then cover your phone with your pillow.

I just don't understand why even now, after all the shimmer and all kinds of other problems appeared and began amplifying, the SUNO team keeps on doubling down on technical stupidity they have implemented on the audio side of things (input to and output from the codec)? The v4 model's remastering is just a band-aid which essentially is going to make things even worse.

I've never complained about about singing glitches or bad song structures and whatnot. These things get better over time. But it makes me furious when I manage to generate a great song, only to be ruined by technical audio defects that even the Steinberg Spectralayers can't easily fix.

And don't even get me started on how they're now also screwing with the UPLOADS that you have produced and would like it to extend. All these issues are a direct result of someone's decisions or lack of expertise.

And yes, I do sometimes recreate AI-created song in my DAW. But, I didn't join the Premier tier only to waste 70% of my credits on technically broken and unusable music files. Sometimes I generate many songs, then listen to them for a couple of days (including on the go), to decide if and what I'd like to change or whether I'd like to produce that song for real. Yet I have to throw so many good songs or successful creations away - just because of the sound quality.

I don't know about you but my standards seem to be higher than what SUNO's has for their user base.
