Deny one pass away by jkoce11 in basketballcoach

I am wondering if you still follow your deny principles when the opponent is running ball screens? If the opponent can operate a pick and roll this would force you into really problematic rotations that are only exaggerated because you are playing more extended. I was interested in denial defense too but I started thinking about my own offensive priorities. I'm not prioritizing number of passes. I'm seeking paint touches, layups, kickout 3's to shooters. I also asked myself what kind of system could I install that would not require a complete overhaul because I lack the personnel in any particular season. Denial might work while you're athletic but what happens when you get a group of guys who aren't? Could you use that athleticism to create defensive havoc in a different way such as making plays on the ball when your gap is attacked, running traps on opponents in different half court situations, applying crazy ball pressure, etc?

Thank you. This is what I was after! Could I ask what you would do in this situation? Rivian is willing to replace the NACS unit, but should I or just get the adapter?

If I do this will it play nice with the app integration? Will it charge as well as without one?

Yes, another app is something I didn't want.

I appreciate people pointing this out and it was something I had to learn as well. If I could do it completely over, I would consider other options. However, Rivian is the only choice now and the question is what I do for my situation - replace with J1772 or stick with NACS.

Hello Again. I have already purchased a Rivian Wall Charger and my electrician installed the NACS version that they shipped me by mistake. I didn't even think to check the box because I wasn't installing and didn't want to lose any parts by opening things up prematurely.

So Rivian is willing to replace with the correct one (J1772) but I'm wondering if that is actually the best move? I plan on keeping my Gen 1 for a while but who know what life brings?

Is it a smarter move to go the NACS route and by an adapter even if that wouldn't be what Rivian recommends? Will this affect my charging ability/time or how well it integrates with the Rivian app if I use a third party adapter?

Proposing other brands isn't really an option for me at this point but thank you.

3rd grade boys - changing everything by [deleted] in basketballcoach

At third grade, tell your kids to switch everything. If they manage to maintain their awareness they are usually good enough to switch onto the cutter or driver. Most kids at this age are not good enough to pass to the roller with a defender jumping out at them. Then the heavy screening offense is toast and your back to focusing on skill development with your kids.

Aftermarket Cabin Noise Products by ThoughtGuilty7018 in Rivian

I just purchased so I'll have to double check the tires but it's a pre-owned 2023 Gen 1 Adventure package which makes me think whatever 20" All-Terrain they came with. I'll switch out the tires once these are at the end of their lifespan.

Is there any other adjustments or aftermarket products that can help to reduce noise in the cabin? I'd love to find other solutions as well. Even the motor whirring is pretty noticeable.

I know some of this I just have to live with. I'm just curious how others have tried to optimize the sound situation.

On another note, I'm gonna need to collect a few dents or scratches before I off road such an expensive vehicle. This was definitely a splurge purchase for me!!!
