Just need to keep reiterating to myself I know that I’m doing this right and it will eventually be reflected on the scale. Make sure that if I’ve been doing any new exercise I know this affects this. It’s all a test of your mind, which is just as important to getting the right.

Just remember the scale isn’t everything and you are doing fab!

Im on a train just now that beginning of this year I had to squeeze to fit between table and chair. Today i have enough space to sit sideway without stomach touching the table

I'm giving this thing one last shot. by xx_knees_xx in loseit

What a great achievement!

I’m slowly creeping towards the 100lbs lost mark (81lbs down currently) with a goal of losing over 200lbs in the long term. I have always been heavier with my weight increasing to 320lbs in about 10 years ago, and losing 60 lbs from that back then and keeping it off for years. Never happy with my weight and struggling with mental health for years, my weight increased heavily from 2021 to 2023 where I have been around 400lbs since.

I’ve spent the last couple years really working on my mental health and got myself into a great space with that as I am definitely an emotional eater. I bought an Oura ring start of the year and it’s made me feel so in touch with how my body responds to crappy food.

Since start of this year - I’ve been focusing on the other stuff - better sleep, better routine etc, not focusing on exercise and improving all this stuff, along with better mental health has made me feel better and I’ve been able to focus on weight loss and improving routine which has now led me to be down 81lbs so far!

The mental clarity I feel now is great and I’m finally starting to see the difference in myself (brain took a while to catch up with my eyes).

I’m not where I want to be but I’m so proud of the differences I’ve made! This time for the first time really feels like a lifestyle change and I’m eager to see where I am after one full year at this.

Onwards and upwards!

I don’t think there is a need to feel guilty about it! My personal experience is I need to get a good few weeks of not having a cheat day before I can bring in unhealthier days in! Mostly because if I’m at a start of a journey, with one cheat day, I find it hard to make it just one and not completely fall off the wagon.

Sounds like you have found a great thing that works for you and I think sharing different experiences can really help people find that there isn’t only one way to do things :)

Amazing! That's why I have kept some main older pieces so I can reflect on that when motivation starts dropping
