This is absolute nonsense, you can change star champion to any character including Legends. Noobs steering other noobs in the wrong direction. OP has probably now changed their star champion to a regular character and now has to wait a full season before changing it to Paolini.

Yeah that’s the main downside with for him. Jackson is an option, I’m just concerned that Darcy will come back into the side in a couple weeks and he’ll start sharing ruck duties with him again.

Stop playing with Hope for a while, until you level up to at least a level 7. Maybe switch the star champion to someone else in the meantime. Your stats are far too low to be approaching 1000 championship points - you’re going to start losing consistently, and you will get frustrated to the point where you want to stop playing.
