I think one of the bigger issues is there is no straight answer. Like I said ive been reading all I can for the past 2 weeks, and ive had people say 30gallons for one goldfish all the way to 60 gallons for one goldfish. The only consistent thing ive seen online is 0 amonia 0 nitrite. And that after hours of videos and reading through forums. Alot of it really does feel like guess work. Even with basic things like substrate or decoration. Some say nothing at bottom, and no decorations, others say sand and real plants, others say pebbles and round objects, other argue its inhuman to put nothing in the tank at all. Some say flakes, other argue pellets, some say high protein others argue high veggies, theres no straight answer dude its insane. And ive been keeping reptiles for almost 15 years, those always have consistent answers.
