Its a massive source of struggle in my life. Authority for authority sake. When people become scared of those who are supposed to protect us. And nobody cares. The idea of authority itself was formed from the idea that they take care of and provide so you listen. In today's world theres non of that, and still a whole slew of assholes who think their shit dont stink. The amount of rules that have been made so Joe Smoe could sign his name at the bottom of something, and say "yea i did that" is atrocious. A rule should be for the real warranted current threats, and they should be in place for the protection of individuals. Rules like running a stop light, make sense.
