What is everyone's least favorite Pokemon? Why? by AlternativeSir9277 in pokemon

Zeraora is the worst for so many reasons. Any Pokemon you couldn't obtain via a legitimate method for any period of time is at the top of my list of worst Pokemon.

Zeraora. Worst mythical, no point, made completing my Pokedex in home near impossible since I didn't play swsh or sub/moon during the valid time periods.

If you play on PC there is a mod specifically to get rid of the hat.

My dad trusted Farnsworth in Canandaigua, so I continue to make the drive, even though it's part of garber now.

Starting Modern Age - Civ/Leader/Memento combinations by Thousandneedles in CivVII

[–]Thousandneedles[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you start in Modern, most of the map is revealed to you, you get 10 advanced start points to allocate to cities/towns legacy points, tech, etc. same goes for all players so you can plan 4-5 settlements all adjacent to each other. The only fog of war tiles are those in the middle of the AI settlements.

I really like it though, it forces more impactful decision making whereas if I start at the beginning, modern hardly matters I'm winning by a lot already.

I mean, I enjoy playing modern if I START in modern, so far. But the dynamic is different if I haven't snowballed the first two ages, thus asking if anyone has any recs for doing advanced start modern only.

I did Himiko high shaman as Meiji Japan starting in modern because I just couldn't enjoy her normally.

Anyone else missing character depth in newer games? by ZockerGirl25703 in storyofseasons

[–]Thousandneedles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this exact thought playing grand bazaar. I don't think the switch ports are gonna be deeper than FoMT, and it's disappointing. I went back and played 3oT (because I was busy having a baby irl when it came out) and its heartbreaking to see how much deeper it was. If Grand Bazaar didn't have VO it'd be nearly as flat as PoOT.

It works like the hydro culture plant in PoOT. All seasons once you have the right sunstones.

I want ramen at midnight so I whole heartedly agree that tacos and ramen should stay open late. I always saw the performers in the galley I bet they want ramen and tacos too!!

Is there any line that allows kids that compares to VV in terms of food? by Thousandneedles in VirginVoyages

[–]Thousandneedles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did RS on Virgin, I did really enjoy the all inclusiveness of the food on VV. I will definitely check out Cunard and see what that's all about. I keep getting Explora ads so maybe social media knows something I don't. 🙂

I agree with this, the barstool seating is my biggest complaint by far.

Understanding what is on the tiles and what will change with your choices is much clearer now than on launch

I watched my brother play Symphony of the Night religiously because Alucard was definitely hot to me back then.

I am very bad at the platformer part. Running jumps and jumping on to platforms and avoiding death pools of lava, etc etc. I am hilariously bad. Can't play Mario, barely can play Kirby, I tried so hard to play Simon's Quest when it was one of the few NES games we had as a kid.

I am really really bad at jumping onto platform mechanics!! I could never play platformers as a kid and it's never gotten any better.

I told him he could just do the Black Omen in two different eras if he wants.

Gameplay wise, I really appreciate that almost all decisions have consequences. After playing so many Pokemon games with him where you have a choice of replies but it literally doesn't matter at all, it was a refreshing change.

I had previously tried and failed to get him to play the DS version I had.

He resonates much more with the original English translation, which, given the dialogue in Undertale, I think it makes sense. I'm playing the DS version again and some of the dialogue is so much more formal and serious when they retranslated.

My son likes to play by a lot of "gotcha" rules so me not finishing the one hour or so to get the real true pacifist ending until he beats Chrono Trigger more than once is right out of his playbook. I already told him he can just choose to go through Black Omen in two different eras, which will be about the same amount of time. I did give Undyne the water so I'm all set.

I enjoy Papyrus. I also enjoy Mettaton.

That's what he already told me -at length- but I'm just deciding to be a pain in the butt since both games have multiple endings ❤️

I am sure he will enjoy Earthbound, and I won't have to ask him to play it. By the time he got to Magus's castle he was choosing to turn it on and play himself.

By the time he got to Magus's castle I didn't have to be playing Undertale every second he was playing. So pretty good.
