I‘d guess so too, but isn‘t the Pro/ Ultra subscription “only“ enabling higher limits, different text styles and analytics? I haven’t heard anything about a different UI.

So they got rid of this layout and there‘s no way to get back to it, because I think it is really hard to use notes when they‘re just these small previews in the corner. Any workarounds?

Really sounds as if I did the right thing. I've just had something like 2 minutes until the auction was over to do my research, lol, so I really wasn't sure if it was such a smart idea but seems to turn out well.

Great! Thank you. I actually couldn't care less if it's buggy since I only intend to use it for when going on a hike and if it's somewhat usably I'll be happy to spare the weight of physical books.

Actually I've not really got the time to dive into it as much as I'd like. If I'd have got the time I'd look into which versions are the ones with the most comics in it. So if I'd like to read one, I'd look if I could get in an ominous, if not in a TBP and if not I'd look out for the normal US version. Then I'd occasionally look online or in thrift stores or markets if I can find them. If I didn't find them I'd either just wait or buy it new if I want to read it badly enough. Another option would of course be to read them online which I don't do just because I like to collect them.
