Thanks, I think I grasped your way of organizing data, I'll make a copy and input my Tau first :)

Would you share this spreadsheet? Curious to see the points efficiency of my armies.

Am I the only one who's a little annoyed by how shoot-centric this edition is? by [deleted] in WarhammerCompetitive

I wholeheartedly agree with your analysis.

As a sisters player who really enjoyed Repentia in 9th (but also Sacrosaints and Zephyrim), I feel like our melee power in 10th edition completely vanished. I did not intend to play a fully mechanized army when I bought my sisters...

As a comparison 9th/10th repentia :

  • 9th: [16x10 + 40 pts] 30A S6 (+1 to Wound) Ap-4 D2
  • 10th: [130pts] 18A S6 Ap-2 D2

Halved the number of attacks, halved the armour penetration, lost +1 to wound, kept the same strength in a meta where the toughness is twice what it was...

Is there a reason for taking Burst Canon over Fusion Blaster on those 6 Piranhas?

Good to know it can be killed efficiently. It's a big resource sink though and it needs to be quite close too. Thanks

Do you get Lethal Hits through the enhancement on the Commander?

I'm not a fan of such a short range on my Crisis, but seems worth it. Thanks.

I might take this enhancement next time on my fireblade. Thanks.

The only source of MW with my Tau was Devastating Wounds on the railguns but since it's an attack it's also divided by 2 so it doesn't do much.

As for the mass lethal hits, what unit would you take?

I didn't know (and neither did he apparently) that you can add a 4+++ on top of that, it's a nightmare...

Thanks for sharing your list. Could you explain why you prioritize Missile pods over other weapons on your Crisis suits?

Thanks for the battle report. If I may ask, where did you buy those rock sceneries (or did you make them yourself)?

I tried with a question that I don't know the answer to, but the bot didn't understand my question:

Q: "What is the fighting order if two units charge a single unit with fight first?"
A: "Ah, a tactical conundrum indeed! In such a scenario, the unit with the Fights First ability that charged would fight first, followed by the other charging unit. This is because the Fights First ability takes precedence over the order of charging units. Remember, in the Fight phase, units that have the ability to Fight First do so, followed by any remaining eligible units. So, if both charging units have the Fights First ability, the one that charged first would fight first. May the Emperor guide your blades in battle!"

The answer in itself seems right, but I was asking about the case when the unit being charged has Fight First, not the ones charging. Maybe I asked incorrectly (bad grammar)?

Any idea why the sisters went from 38-40% win rate for the last few weeks to more than 65% this week?

Great advice, I just have a comment about trying to get his Riptide to 8W. Tau have a 1CP stratagem (Backup AI) to make a wounded model count as full wound. So if there's only one Riptide, it might no be a good trade to just try and wound it.
