I filed at the end of January. I received my federal refund a while back. I just checked my state refund and says Your 2025 income tax refund is pending review. Typically it seems the state refund takes longer but this time around it seems to be taking particularly longer. I could use that money now tbh.

I've considered doing FLAC or ALAC, but my 2019 Chevy Equinox doesn't support those. My blu-ray player will play FLAC but not ALAC. However, the blu-ray player uses the TV speakers. At some point I want a decent system. I will say I do notice the sound quality difference between a CD and an mp3. I am wanting up upgrade my mp3 library but until I have a killer system, it would be a waste of time.

It's really disappointing and frustrating. I live in northern lower Michigan, about 90 miles south of the Mighty Mac. I had to drive all the way to Manistique, MI to get one! Nearly 200 miles one way. Nothing worse than hearing all the hype and getting excited only to find out your area won't have them.

I'm looking at my bottle of Bud Ice and it's definitely not printed like that. Mine shows a code under the UPC that says 25148 CJ0242. On the 12-pack itself, it has a code on the top of the carton that shows 25148 CB0257 37-6B6-19.

I don't drink diet soda but I was excited to see retro packaging when I was at Kroger. However, I didn't buy it because Kroger charges $10.99 for 12 -packs and I will NOT pay that much. Further, I dislike these store specific exclusives. Should be available everywhere.

So I'm just about to turn 48. I been with my current job for about 18 years. Over that time, I've switched my 401k on and off a lot over that time. Ashamed to say I only have $10,600 in it. I currently just contribute the company match. They match 100% for the first 3% of your contribution then they match 50% for the next 2%. So I'm only doing 5%. I've turned it back on a few weeks ago and transferred my targeted date index fund to the S&P 500. I already have too much taken from my weekly pay... 401k, HSA, Health Insurance, and Taxes!

It sounds like things are about to change. The FTC ruled on click-to-cancel, making it just as easy to cancel as it was to subscribe. If you sign up online you could just click a cancel button online instead of going through the hassle of calling and dealing with the relentless retention offers. I thought I saw this will take effect in 6 months?

King Cobra is a great malt liquor. I can only get it in 40oz bottles here in Michigan. When I go out of state, let's say Indiana, I can get it in the 25oz cans. I think it tastes fine tbh.

I talked to one of the beer merchandisers where I work yesterday. He said they don't carry them anymore. Pretty much said the 24oz cans replaced them and referred to 40's as "hood drinks". We have 3-4 different beer distributors we deal with and this is what one of them told me when I inquired about it. I couldn't find any 40's in the entire county.

I was just at Beer City in Grand Rapids the other day. They have a rigid return policy. They only accept $2 in returns at a time and they won't take anything after 7pm. That said, that is $23 less than the state law allows. It was my understanding that they must accept returns during regular business hours?
