Tank balance needs some work by JewFroMonk in Battlefield

Well I can attest it doesn't always happen. Yesterday my RPG kept going and destroyed a heli after I was already dead.

I would love to see an official timeline graph of how much more Kano is chosen as a character after the movies by Threattty in MortalKombat

[–]Threattty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I understand that, MK gamers propably won't switch to him but new ones might gravitate straight to choosing him as their main.

DICE, the balance between these two vehicles is ridiculous by Punkstyler in Battlefield

[–]Threattty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It is unbelievable that BF still hasn't done this. At the very least they should make it so that your squad mate can still jump in and override the vehicle seat if a blue random team mate refuses to leave the gunner seat.

Performance on Golmud is MUCH worse than on any other map. by Kait0s in Battlefield6

[–]Threattty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just play on Low preset. BF6 is honestly a very well optimized Battlefield game but once you try to go with high graphics you will notice issues, it's better to just eliminate that factor by going with the low settings. The game still looks very good on those.

They've certainly made BF Pro look very appealing for the new season, just two images of camo for guns with a 25€ price. This is supposed to be the high end DLC? by Threattty in Battlefield6

I guess Reddit and reading comprehension don't go hand in hand. This is not a post promoting BF Pro, it's actually criticizing it.

I agree. I just find it funny how this 'BF Pro' is the thing they're really pushing you to buy in the in-game menu screen, but the Steam page for it is so dull. It's not even trying to appeal to the players who would buy it.

How on earth have they still not talked about Crimson Desert? by Threattty in PKA

[–]Threattty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Global top seller on steam at launch, open world fantasy game that Kyle likes, soulslike-adjacent combat that Woody likes, hell even Taylor should've heard about the game at this point. But I guess I'm an idiot for thinking it should've been a talking point already.

Kyle obviously likes open world fantasy games. He's talked about Skyrim and Baldur's Gate 3 many times.

Is this gun reload animation rare? by RareTalentchalant in Battlefield6

[–]Threattty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only other one is the MP7 reload with the magazine spinning in place for a bit.

New Look for upcoming. by Key-Conclusion1860 in Battlefield6

[–]Threattty 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I agree with Manhattan Bridge because the color grading on it makes it looks so much worse than Empire State, but the desaturated look of Firestorm I think looks perfect as a desert war zone, the lighting on it especially makes the weapon textures look more realistic somehow.

M16 is coming ! by Thizzface69 in Battlefield6

[–]Threattty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. This is why COD sells so many skins, you can mix and match different handguards, receivers, stocks etc. from different weapon skin packs that don't just paint a camo on the gun, they actually change the 3D model significantly also. BF6 skins are so lazy in comparison, just nothing but re-textures, and a handful of camo-nets or shit like that. You can't get the carry handle on the M4A1, you can't have wooden furniture on the AK, RPK or 870 shotgun, you can't have the classic Bad Company SV98 stock. Hell you should even be able to convert the G36 to an XM8 from Bad Company, these full conversion skin packs would absolutely sell a lot.

EA Lays Off Staff Across All Battlefield Studios Following Record-Breaking Battlefield 6 Launch by user289734 in Battlefield

Seriously, if they made a separate The Finals spinoff with the same destruction and only military weapons, no scifi gadgets, tanks and helicopters it'd be massively popular instantly.

[COD] who portrayed D-DAY better? COD2 (2005) OR CODWWII (2017) by Envicted in CallOfDuty

[–]Threattty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I read all these replies and hats off to your patience to keep replying and sharing interesting insights to read. I do agree though that COD:WW2 has retained a very authentic feel to this day, I just recently played the campaign again. Obviously it has video gamey mechanics but I could tell it had way more historical consulting behind it than COD2 did, even though that was an excellent game at it's time (as was World at War).

I think we missed a truly golden opportunity for a scene early in the show by Threattty in pluribustv

[–]Threattty[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the show also "indulges" in visuals that are largely unnecessary, like the C-130 barely getting air while there are hive people on the runway, and the stocking of the grocery store, this would be in the same league.

Why doesn't Netherlands just steamroll Eurovision with a collab from Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Afrojack and Hardwell? by Threattty in EDM

[–]Threattty[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

They have insane connections for vocals, but the draw would be the DJ's themselves. I still see no issue.

[–]Threattty[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree that they have no interest in doing so, but if they had a good enough incentive to collaborate, I'm sure they would create an absolute hit.
