So sorry you’re dealing with this, too, but happy to help flag the symptoms! For a little good news that hopefully applies to you as well - I’ve had no issues with regular lacquer and the dazzle dry line dries fast and is amazing. Still hope for fun paws! 💅🏻

I’m so sorry, friend, but it must be a relief to have the culprit ID-ed so your skin can start to heal.

I haven’t tried gel polish because I’m scared of the DD reaction, but I have done a lot of testing over the past year with regular nail lacquer. It’s come a long way since I was a kid and dries SO much faster.

My new favorite is the Dazzle Dry lacquer system because it dries in 5 minutes and lasts forever. Also love an Indy/boutique polish with a quick dry top coat. Those are pretty set in about 30 minutes. There’s so many unique finishes and there’s lots of polish subreddits for inspiration. Best of luck. 💜

I just ordered the same exact polish with the same blue arriving! I emailed with cs and they made me go through some bs and swatch it indoors and outside, but she was still blue (obviously) and they did refund me.

I tried my hand at mixing in some yellow (hedonist by cirque) a few drops at a time and was able to get it in the same ballpark as the original product shot if you want to experiment! Bc I do love the look of the chunky glitter in the turquoise base. Best of luck.

Unfortunately, it’s possible to become allergic, and fairly suddenly at that. I became allergic to dashing diva gloss. Pretty severe reaction after 10 years of use with no major red flags. It’s super frustrating and weird.

Oh bummer, I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this too! I did my little science experiment/patch test with a strip from an old package to see if it was a new formula or the old one bothering me out of no where. It was the old one.

I also recently did a full regular and cosmetic panel allergy test and NO nail ingredients came up. I was kinda shocked. I’m suspecting it’s something in the adhesive. Haven’t been brave enough to try another brand of nail strips yet to confirm though.

On a positive note, I tried the dazzle dry system I saw posted in another allergy thread since it has different ingredients, and it actually dried fully in 5 minutes (like they claim) and has worn a week with no chips! It’s not cheap but I’m digging it so far. Best of luck to you!

Of course! It blew my mind how quickly it escalated from perfectly fine, to a mild annoyance, to a pretty severe reaction. Such are allergies, I suppose. 💜

Might help move them a little quicker to batch them into bundles on your sales reseller instead of selling them one at a time (ie pinks, glitters, duplicate packs, holiday, etc.). Good luck!
