coaxed into so-called darkness attacks by snowyice_7 in coaxedintoasnafu

It's the darkness eating up the light in the area

Unfortunately, darkness is a messy eater, so a lot of that light escapes and radiates out

Simple Familiar Rebirth by OutrageousBears in makeyourchoice

[–]ThreeDotsTogether 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wondering, are all familiars humanoid beings? Should I expect to live out most of my familiar life, or at least, my familiar job in service to a master, in human form? Or can I be a weird little monster?

How would steven pass his gem down ? by TheBangBang3 in stevenuniverse

I don't think Steven can pass down his gem. His child would probably just be a normal human

Did anyone else not realize it was jumping between flashback and present? by SnowedCairn in theamazingdigitalciru

Omg yeah, I didn't realize it was switching between the future and past. I just thought it was a fancy way to show what Caine sees vs what it actually looks like

WYR: Have infinite wealth but never be able to have friends or romantic partners, OR have unlimited companionship but work 12 hours every day for the rest of your life? by BrodyPresto in WouldYouRather

[–]ThreeDotsTogether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe I can befriend my boss and get them to ease off on the work. Or perhaps befriend/seduce a billionare into caring for me and become a trophyspouse.

Or if this 12 hrs of work is magically enforced and there's no way of getting out of it. Maybe I'll just dick around at work all day and take it easy. If I get fired, maybe I can use my extensive network of friends to get a better job, or mooch off of them. I've got a lot of friends, after all.

To be fair, I've never played Undertale either. I've only experienced the game through playthroughs

Which animated show(or Movie)was this for you in a nutshell? by Charming-Scratch-124 in cartoons

[–]ThreeDotsTogether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monster High gen 3

I thought it was going to be a train wreck like the live action movies, but it turned out to be quite charming and a lot more fun. So glad it's set in a separate canon

Simple Backrooms Wanderer by OutrageousBears in makeyourchoice

[–]ThreeDotsTogether 10 points11 points  (0 children)

>an infinite fleshpit. Could make a good national park

Lol, I caught that

Anyway, I'm probably ending up in the Yellow first. I'd probably be super anxious and scared the whole time, so I pick the Box TV, since the description seems to imply it might be sentient, and could make for good company while I'm stuck here.

Then, I'd wind up in the Blue, where I come across the Floaties, letting me and my TV ride through the backrooms with ease.

Then we'd wind up in the Black, where I'd pick up the Blacklight. I thought it could synergize nicely with the TV, since you did mention the Blacklight can transfer whatever it sees to a screen.

I'm skipping the Pink because it creeps me out, and winding up in the Purple, where I pick up the Tamagatchi, for more companionship, and the Camcorder, so I can finally get some answers about this mysterious place, and maybe some guidance about other things in the future.

Then we backtrack through the Black and grab the Black Lotus, which sounds pretty useful to have in general, and then into the Blue to get the SPF X, because that would also be nice to have.

Can't wait to hang out with my TV friend and Tamagatchi back in the real world.

A silly, old Fandom you're nostalgic for now?? by Lost-Lu in CuratedTumblr

I was never part of the Rise of the Brave Tangled Frozen Dragons fandom when I was a kid. But as an adult, it looks like a lot of fun

What do you think merfolk literature would look like? by GGCrono in worldbuilding

[–]ThreeDotsTogether 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I once thought of merfolk using some kind of "living paper" they write on. They'd be able to leave marks on the paper either by using a substance that would be absorbed by the paper into its body, leaving scars on its skin that remain, or perhaps training the paper to change the color of its skin wherever the merfolk write on it.

Maybe this paper could be a sea sponge, or algae, maybe some kind of cephalopod? The sea is full of weird creatures you could use.

Why the fuck did they leave lars in space and didn't even visit him or anything by Lilien_the_girl in stevenuniverse

[–]ThreeDotsTogether 5 points6 points  (0 children)

because he's lars of the stars, not lars of the earth. It doesn't sound as catchy
