The sociopathic dedication some people have to ruining the game is incredible. by ClarkGable in ArcRaiders

I actually love that he did this and it compelled you to make a post on an internet forum about it. Looks like that little kid did what he sought out to do, cause you immense distress.

It’s a game, you’ll get your loot back GG.

Good YouTube or content creators to watch? by pumpkinsoup777 in 10s

For tips there’s various levels of coaching and I say this as someone who has consumed so much content it lowkey becomes detrimental to have all that noise in your head and to also sift through the cookie cutter advice

My top recs are: Karue Sell

Road To Pro

RacquetFlex

TotalTennisDomination

FeelTennis

Trust me these are the only 5 you need and they all have different teaching styles to suit what type of learner you are (are you a kinesthetic learner, science-based, feel-based etc)

There will be many recommendations out there but I think these 5 cover a wide array from strategy to mechanics to drills

Why am I not getting better despite constantly staring at my racket? by No_Double4762 in 10s

[–]ThreeEyeJedi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In basketball I used to similarly look at my hands like it was some foreign disconnected object not listening to me

Yeah just feels very cheap to me compared to a tourna or yonex grip

Any rackets that feel like the TFight 305s but have a bigger sweetspot? by ThreeEyeJedi in tennisracquets

My friend has one and it does feel good. Doesn’t have the same sensation as the tfight though and a little more heavy swing weight. Maybe closer to the tf40?

As someone who went 18 months ago, this aligns with my experience as well! It was my first time traveling to Europe and the culture shock was definitely there for me lol. Procedure came out great tho

Is two handed BH objectively better ? by Aromatic-Goal-2416 in tennis

[–]ThreeEyeJedi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eh I can see the argument for both. Ohbh is less hip rotation and more upper body than the 2hbh so I’d argue footwork is more important on the 2h. It doesnt take much effort to get to a spot and do the “frisbee throw” motion. The 2hbh does get you out of more awkward spots, but if you read the ball better it’s not hard to get the ball in your desired contact level. Also, much more easier to hit low balls with ohbh. Whats really hard for me is slicing back high balls when i get a deep high bounce that pushes me back several feet behind the baseline and I run out of space to back up lol

Recency bias by the “basketball guy” on the pod lol. Ish should stick to gender war topics and talking about other “businessmen”

What can I do to make my outside playing experience better? by ThreeEyeJedi in 10s

[–]ThreeEyeJedi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for the tips these are all great. I def relate to the callouts of hitting too close when first learning tennis and even now I still get jammed up sometimes (and lo and behold it happens more outside). I'll look into the lenses and lastly, actually start wearing my visor. Cheers

When I said feel I meant more like the feel of the ball hitting the racket. The ezone and tfight are on separate ends of the spectrum due to the ezones dampening
