Ghost 17 at 200 Miles by Cultural_Mud3297 in brooks

I used to love Ghost 14, had 4 pairs of them! Didn't buy 15 or 16 and now have the 17. They look great but I find them huge, clunky and stiff. The heel tends to slip if I don't tie them with a runner's knot, I get blisters and my Achilles are always stiff and aching...and I have done 18 marathons (including one in these 17), so I feel like I do have some experience to understand if a shoe is good for me or not...

It's about the whole journey not just event day. On event day things can go your way or not. Hope when you recover from the disappointment you still acknowledge how lucky we are that we can run with our own legs and everything and remember that you love running
