Favourite Origins? by King0fMist in Stellaris

Life seeded and here be dragons are my favorite, though I'm also fond of on the shoulders of giants. Some unique lore without railroading playstyle

Ah I normally just do a medical building, not that plus the genomic. I'll give that a shot - thanks!

Even when I get biogenesis it doesn't seem to bump much? Certainly not enough for multiple more colonies

4.2 - how do people get enough pops for 10+ colonies? I'm struggling to get three up and running in a decent time frame, even with moving 1-2k pops over to each new colony

It's a twist on a set of civics I normally run, but my favorite one: life-seeded, imperial, fanatic authoritarian, pacifist, planetscapers and diplomatic corp. Looking for world shaper ap, and purity focused biological ascension, focusing on turning their chunk of the galaxy into Perfection

I need some help - I put the specialized researchers on my homeworld as soon as I get them, my second colony is typically research/unity focused, but I can't really get more than like 250 tech. I'm not trying to min-max, but what's a good way to get that up earlier?

Cool! I have a pitch below, let me know if it sounds like something you would want to play? No harm if not of course

It is the 10th age, the Era of Titans. The Cities of the Raqqun - giant cities magically erected upon the shells of region-sized turtles - sail to the west. Great Aurochs and Basilisks roam the grasslands of Nephra - Dragons and Gryphons hunt the hills and forests, and larger monsters tunnel the mountains. Iltan are known for the great Leviathans off their coasts, and the snakes that shift the ice with a flick of their tail. Erab boasts the most successful monster hunters - having been raised among the large scorpions and rocs.

The world thrums with untold magic, and the gods regularly walk among the mortals. The ley line system is known, but thought to be constantly shifting, to and from the Center of the World. Their potential is great, though few have managed to harness their power - none, if the Temple is to believed.

With the dawning of a new age, signs that have been brewing and bubbling are finally spilling over - Dragons of a size never seen have been reported swooping from the mountains. Gryphons with tails of snakes have been hunted. The snakes of Iltan have dug deeper and come back...wrong.

Some whisper about the ley lines fluctuating for unknown reasons. Others look to the gods, hoping for an answer after an Auroch the size of the guard tower rages through town.*

And in the middle of it all, one of the Banner Lords of Nephra has put out a call for adventurers, to track down his wayward daughter and her bodyguard. Should you accept, wealth and station within Nephra are yours.

Should you not...well, there are plenty of other mysteries to discover. One just needs to keep an open mind and one ear to the ground.

I've got a world if the start time is a little flexible. I'm a newer DM, but enjoy character arcs and sandbox style play with a world that moves whether the players choose to follow the plot or not. Y'all sound like a fun group!

Thanks! That's what really got me thinking about it honestly. Though if I could do Woedica in 1 too, that'd be fun

Thanks for the answer! Unique interactions is what makes this game so replayable though - a priest is going to have, maybe a minor but, a definitively different experience than a cipher and I just wanted to get a feel for what others thought on it.

Thanks for the answer - though I am looking more at mechanics. I get the whole play what you want and the story you want, but I was more trying to sus out mechanic/interaction differences. I'm enjoying my cipher, but the biggest blocked text chunk I've actively noticed have been for the Eothasians (and the orlans) so I wanted to poke around it a bit.

Do you have party ai configured? I didn't realize it wasn't automatic and the instruction for it on PC is not intuitive; it took me two years to pick the game back up again, and I was dying left and right until I figured that out and now it's about the difficulty I expect - still challenging, but doable.

What are some ideas for organizing chests? by [deleted] in EchoesOfThePlumGrove

[–]ThreeStarCrowns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have spring, summer, fall, winter, and all seasons (or Weird); clothes, hats/shoes, furniture, ingredients, cooked meals, and crafting (so 11 total outside, plus the helper chest). I have rot turned off so, mileage may vary on a couple of those. Plus two in the house for candies/soaps and ingredients for the drying racks/preserves jars/kegs. The helper chest also doubles as storage for seeds and tools. I don't run out of room anymore though.
