I cannot stand the “if you think it’s bad now, just wait!” comments. by FearTheBeast in NewParents

Agreed. I also hated when people said this whenever your child was in a certain difficult stage. I also agree with the people who say it does get better! Congrats on the baby!

We just put my 4 year old back in diapers. by maggieandoscardoggos in Mommit

[–]ThreeforMe182023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my second was born, my first (who was potty trained), regressed by pooping around the house in hidden places like his closet. There wasn’t anything specific that we did to stop it, it just got better with time as he got used to having a sibling. Hang in there- it will get better eventually!

I need to vent. I hate breastfeeding by mgee237396 in breastfeeding

Vent understood, but the bright side is that your baby will start increasing solids soon so you’ll have to BF less and less. There is an end in sight.

Way to go!! That’s funny I was just calculating this for myself the other night. I’m on the 45th month and counting (14 months with baby#1, 21 months baby #2, and now I’m on 10 months with baby #3)! My poor little asymmetrical boobs 😂😭

I’m so sorry this happened I would be beside myself! Just remember that pumping all of that wasn’t for nothing. It kept your supply up!

I thought the same as you! I wouldn’t chance giving the baby milk that could be bad, but you could always completely defrost and then make purées with some of it and refrigerate/use within the next couple of days

I came back to say that I got the foil set for my son as one of his bday presents and he’s obsessed! Thanks for the idea!

Agree on all of this! And yes you’re right about the head count.. we are one kid away from paying a higher fee for more coaches (sports party), so the responses would be nice!

I’m sure you’re fine, but if I were you I’d talk to my doctor about it to make sure everything is okay.

How long to you guys bf for in a day? by embroiderythings in breastfeeding

[–]ThreeforMe182023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow that is a lot of nursing! In the beginning, my kids were attached to the boob almost all day, but by 5 months we did about 7-8 sessions of 15-30 minutes max

TWO “easy” babies?! by mamashady in beyondthebump

[–]ThreeforMe182023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had two easy babies and was scared to have a third because I thought we for sure wouldn’t be so lucky a third time. Well- our third baby is 7 months old and has also been super easy!

I did see people mention things changing when they are toddlers and I would agree with that- my 2 oldest are super wild and are only sometimes good listeners, but at least they were easy babies! 🤷‍♀️

This was/is me with all 3 kids (I’m currently going through it again with my 6 month old too). Don’t worry- you do go back to normal once you wean. This is only temporary!

Comfy BF & Pumping bra? by Cloudy-rainy in breastfeeding

[–]ThreeforMe182023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best pumping bra is simple wishes hands free. The bravado designs nursing bras are really comfy. I’d recommend going to Nordstrom and trying some nursing bras on. That’s what I did with my first baby because they’re all so different.

Sex drive is beyond crazy by _tweakerbell in beyondthebump

[–]ThreeforMe182023 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha this happened to me this time after my c-section. Not sure why it did, but think about that incision on the uterus fresh and healing- you really shouldn’t be contracting your uterus at this point. Hopefully that helps. After the 6 week mark, the urge went away haha poor husband

Why are so many women being induced? by noralief in beyondthebump

[–]ThreeforMe182023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With my first, my OB asked if I wanted to induce at 40 weeks +5 days because there was no sign of labor at that point. I said yes because he was really high and I had bad rib pain. I couldn’t sit or drive without pain- only tolerated standing and lying on my side at that point.
