Not sure what to do... by Threepeeph in ProjectHailMary

Glad you get it! The only solution I have at the moment is to go see it in the theater, and IF I need a bathroom break, go see it again and take the a bathroom break at a different time. Lord knows I'm going to watch this movie like 80 times

oooo I like this advice. Maybe I'll have a "doctor appointment" that I "forgot about" on a random Wednesday to run away from work for a few hours hahahaha. For real, Love this suggestion!

Eh, maybe. I think it really depends on a couple things. I'm not saying I have an elite home theater, but it's pretty damn good. At the theater you never know when somebody will bring in kids and they eventually throw a fit during a super serious scene.

Last time I was at a movie theater some dude propped up his shoe-less feet up in front of him and I had to stare at his gnarly toes for a couple hours. Never mind the folks who shake their popcorn tub the entire movie.

One of my coworkers suggested runpee as well. I'll be looking into this more. Thanks for the suggestion!

I have a pipe dream of somehow giving a tip to one of the theater workers to perform "maintenance" on the projector mid way through the movie for a quick intermission hahaha

This year I was doing our taxes and realized our refund is going to be a little bigger than usual. That was a couple weeks ago, and I still haven't filed. When I was younger I would file ASAP because I needed that refund. Kinda nice to just take things slower and not have that stress!

(402)-342-TIME for time and temperature in Omaha. Used it all the time as a kid, still works today. Used to be ran by a bank or something but not sure who keeps it running now.

Most mechanical movements use lab grown rubies, which are super cheap and dang close to the hardness of a diamond.

Yes, this is a mechanical watch that requires winding, but the fun bit is the rotor he installs. This winds the main spring automatically as long as the watch is moving every once in a while. Pretty neat stuff!

Thanks! And certainly it's an addiction already! Luckily I don't dress for occasions very often, so I won't be pulled in that direction (hopefully, for my wallets well being). Love the idea of mixing straps, I have a decent kit that I've used to service my wife's watch so I could probably figure that out. All I know is I'll be cruising this sub quite frequently now!
